A convenient escape...

A peaceful, spacious, family-friendly country paradise where you can get away, but not too far away from Mississippi State's campus and all the festivities of Starkville, MS. This grand home is the perfect escape amidst the South’s most dreamy college town.
This home is about 15–20 minutes away from Mississippi State’s campus in Starkville, MS. It is tucked away just perfectly: outside of town, but not too far for a convenient weekend revolving around MSU festivities. It sits on some of the most beautiful land this area has to offer; accompanied by a pool, playground, and dreamy outdoor spaces.
Very spacious house and rooms. Large common spaces, and closets large enough to sleep an extra person on an air mattress if you’d really like!

The house sits on beautiful property in a farming area. The pool is so enjoyable, but does not have lights currently inside. (PLEASE note it’s peak season is late May-early September; it is not heated and will not be kept up as well until then). It is in a rural, country area—so expect the things that come with the outdoors, like bugs and spider webs!

Very nice and roomy stay

Beautiful home! Lots of space. Beautiful outdoors. Quiet and away from the rest of the world. Definitely will stay again. Now it is out. Downside is the gravel roads to get to location.

Beautiful Home, with critters

The home itself was perfect for my large family who were staying for a wedding nearby. Many of the outside 'draws' were unusable. Needs better cleaning, especially outside.

Large house was perfect for weekend stay

We hosted a girls’ getaway in Starkville while our daughters attended camp at the university. The home was very spacious with plenty of room to spread out, but the decor and furnishings were sparse. The home is located 3-4 miles down a dirt road on a beautiful country property, plenty of privacy! The home needs fresh, updated linens, towels, pillowcases. The kitchen and outdoor areas needed organizing and decluttering. It was in need of new pool and patio furniture!

Quiet Starkville Adjacent

A very nice house in a private location; a nice get away from it all location; but, bring your supplies with you because there is no shopping for 9 miles and you won't want to go back and forth on the pea gravel roads. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans, baking sheets--we had everything we needed. The pool looked very inviting but too cold for us in March! As with all VRBO properties the number it "sleeps" is including every horizontal surface in the house--so be sure to count the beds! We had what we needed.
