My daughter and her bridesmaids enjoyed staying together in the home for the weekend and getting ready there prior to the wedding. The home is roomy and provided everything we needed in terms of getting ready and then relaxing after the wedding. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

AMAZING STAY

Josh and his team are always very nice to work with and since we have between 5-7 people in the field for weeks at a time it makes it a wonderful place to be. The lot is huge allowing for our trailers and trucks and it is big enough to accommodate 5-6 couples.

AMAZING GEM

I can't believe how nice this facility was. It was perfect and a super retreat with a private setting for a small group. Host was always available when needed, always answered phone and helped with checkin questions. Fantastic I want to go back. Best VRBO we've stayed in yet.

We had several families stay together in The Starkvegas Clubhouse and it was ideal for what we needed it to be. The location was decent for the ball parks as well as area restaurants. The house was very roomy and the back porch was peaceful! The one drawback is that there is only 2 bathrooms and they are like “community” bathrooms which is not convenient. One bath upstairs would have made the house more appealing. All in all, our stay was great.

Business Retreat

Our group of 5 had a great time staying at this Starkville property! We stayed at the property to host a quick business meeting over the weekend. We liked that the house had plenty of space for relaxing, meeting, discussion and socializing. The property was just a quick ride to Columbus MS (where we enjoyed a fabulous dinner) and also to downtown Starkville for another meal and its close to the MSU campus! We would rent this place again. It was perfect for us. The bedrooms were large. The property can accomodate large groups.

Came down to support MSU Bulldogs football! This place was so spacious and such a unique layout! We loved it here! Both bathrooms are downstairs. There is 1 bedroom downstairs & 4 bedrooms were upstairs so everyone upstairs would have to come downstairs to use the restroom but I promise you it really wasn’t an inconvenience As it might seem! The place was perfect for a quick weekend visit! Check in was super easy & the property manager was very responsive! You’ll love this place!

Our group of 10 had a good stay. Our second full day there had some issues with the showers warming up, but apparently that was user error (pro tip: run the hot water in the sink before starting the shower). The downstairs King bed bedroom had some privacy issues with the stain glass window. Lots of natural light at this location. If traveling with a younger group, which we had, know that sound travels really easily. Additionally, the bedrooms had a tendency to get hot. Still, a great, peaceful location and the manager was very quick to respond to any messages. Certainly worth your consideration if staying in Starkville.

Title: Great Location & Privacy, But Not Fully Ready for GuestsFirst, I want to say this is a really cool property in an excellent location. It’s very private, peaceful, and convenient to Starkville. If you’re coming in for meetings or sporting events, the location truly is a 10/10. The outdoor areas are great, and the overall concept of the house is neat. I also liked having the option of multiple bedrooms for flexibility with our group.However, there were several issues that made the stay disappointing.When we arrived, only four of the six advertised bedrooms were accessible. Two bedrooms were locked. When I asked about it, I was told they were not finished being cleaned because there were only three people on the guest list. That shouldn’t matter — we rented the entire house and expected access to all listed bedrooms. After I pushed the issue, one additional bedroom was opened, but this should not have required a discussion.One of the upstairs bedrooms is still unfinished drywall with mud and tape visible. That space is clearly not complete and should not be advertised as a finished bedroom.The upstairs master bedroom has a TV, but there is no cable, Roku, or streaming option connected — so the TV is unusable. It’s essentially decorative.The icemaker and water dispenser on the refrigerator do not work. this was inconvenient.Both shower and kitchen took 5 mins to get warm not hot I will not stay here again

We followed up with the owner, who would like to address the following: - We are currently completing updates to the upstairs area, including the addition of a new full bathroom. During this process, one bedroom has an unfinished sheetrock wall. We apologize that this was not communicated more clearly prior to your stay. - You requested an early check-in, and at the time, the upstairs cleaning had not yet been fully completed. We understand that all advertised bedrooms should be available when renting the entire home, and we will ensure this is the case moving forward. - We appreciate you bringing the TV setup, refrigerator features, and hot water timing to our attention. Know What You're Getting

I can't really describe our "stay", because we were at the property about an hour and a half before leaving and renting three rooms at a hotel. This property was not suitable in the least for our group. We were in town for my son's wedding; there are five bedrooms as advertised - only one has a semblance of a closet, so we had nowhere to hang our rehearsal dinner and wedding clothes; the two bathrooms are downstairs while four of the bedrooms are upstairs which is not good when you have an elderly person and a 3 year old; the rugs and carpets were stained and dirty; the bedding looked very uninviting to put it kindly; there was a large parking lot in front of the house - the house is in an isolated area and there was very little lighting; one of the bathrooms smelled of sewage; there was a urinal and toilet in one of the bathrooms which was very unexpected. Overall, this was our worst experience with a VRBO rental. I will say that it had a large downstairs area for a gathering - if you want to rent somewhere to have a party or large get-together where no one cares about the sleeping arrangements or bathing, then this may be suitable for you. I guess it is called the Clubhouse for a reason - it seems that may be what it was in its former life. For us, it was beyond disappointing, especially considering I had booked about 4 months in advance. This was a lesson learned for me.

Additionally, after your stay, we updated the listing to clarify that the property has one closet, with additional bedrooms featuring an armoire or dresser, though some do not have dedicated clothing storage.- A urinal is included in one of the bathrooms as an additional feature, and we understand it may not have been expected.- Outdoor lighting includes a parking lot light installed by the local power company, along with porch lights to ensure safety and visibility.- We were at the home before your visit and did not detect any sewage odors. We will inspect the space thoroughly to ensure it remains clean and inviting.We’re sorry this home didn’t align with your group’s needs, especially given the importance of your son’s wedding. Starkville Club house

We visited for 4 nights for graduation ceremonies at MSU. We had family and a few friends. The check-in did not go so smooth. We entered the door code, and it did not work. We called the property contact, and we had to leave a message. I called again and eventually got a text. The battery was dead for the deadbolt code, so we had to enter another way. We finally entered and replaced the batteries. Other than that hiccup, everything was as advertised. We had plenty of supplies, a fire pit that was stocked, and a BBQ. Overall, we were satisfied with the property. It was close to the campus, and it was a quiet place where we could walk our dog and very little traffic.

Weekend stay

We loved the house once we got settled in. The property had just been painted and I think painters did not clean up as they should have. Any issues we had were immediately taken care of by Josh. We had 7 adults and 3 children and everyone was very comfortable. The kids loved playing corn hole game , fire in the fire pit and exploring the property. We will be back next year. A fun place for a large group.
