Sitting right above the Polar Bear Restaurant (serving great Mexican and American food), this spacious, 2 bedroom apartment has stunning views out of every window! Queen bed, window air-conditioning, two closets (one walk in), and 32inch smart tv in the master bedroom. Two twin beds, 32in smart tv, ceiling fan in the 2nd bedroom. Dining table with 4 chairs in the dining area. Couch, recliner, coffee table, ceiling fan, and 42 inch TV in the living room and air-conditioner. Kitchen has refrigerator, oven, stove, toaster oven, toaster, air fryer, microwave, coffee maker, silverware, vent, plates, bowls, pots and pans, etc and tile floors and counter with 3 stools Two chairs, small table and a propane bbq in the front outside area at the top of the stairs. Very peaceful quiet location. Right across the street from the post office and the library. Just one block from the court house and movie theater, just 3 blocks to Safeway. Hospital is close by as well.

Apartment above Polar Bear

It had what we needed as far as wi-fi, comfortable bed, Smart TV, kitchen accessories. BUT an older property that has been very well used, very dated, and some issues (toilet not bolted to the bathroom floor). We would stay there again if we were in a pinch.

I hope to one day properly bolt the toilet down, it will require more work than normal for that type of thing. Anything else I could have do or do in the future to obtain 5 stars from you next time?

Double booked Vrbo cancelled my rsvp

Vrbo double booked my reservation and cancelled it as I was arriving to our destination. Left us scrambling for last minute place to stay for my family. I will be contacting them for a full refund.

My name is Jared and have been hosting vactiion rentals for about 4 years now. I started with two home in Alturas, CA which is about an hour from this property and where I currently. I only have this location as I have sold the other two properties. I intend to turn the down stairs apartment into a short term rental as well as having a long term tenant has proven to be horrible option for me once again. I enjoy offering people more thana single room with a bed and a TV and a bathroom for $119 before taxes and fees because I am happy making even less a night than the "cheap" motel room while providing so much - why? because that's fair. They are over priced!! I enjoy the guests on VRBO because they are aware of what is expected from me and from them. It's all written down and very clear. I'll do my best to be as up front at accurate when describing the property and the amenities. If I misrepresented anything I will do my best to fix it and make it right. I have a cleaning person who lives neary and can help as well if requested and does her best. She just started actually after Ivr problems with others . She is available for extra cleanings, for a fee, upon request.

Beautiful town, with beautiful people, and mountains. Very distinct seasons, amazing nature all around, walk distance to everything in town. Court is a block away, Safeway and Ace Hardware just 4 blocks. The community pool is just 3/4 blocks. Dispensary a block away! And many more local shops and restaurants within just blocks

2nd floor apartment with comfortable stylish floor plan. Hardwood floors that were recently sanded and satined. Recently painted with new tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom with new laminate in the entry room and 2nd bedroom. New countertops in kitchen and bathroom. New sinks as wel. Harwood floors in master bedroom with large walk in closet as well. Second smaller closet in master bedroom as well. Nice views of the town and mountains from all the windows. A/C and heaters throughout. Quiet and private. Full bathroom with bathtub and shower.
