Newly renovated 1929 cottage near Roche Harbor. Modern updates with charm and comfort. This lovely rental home is just a few-minute-drive away from the historic Roche Harbor Resort. Enjoy the modern updates while also soaking in the historic atmosphere. Relax among the 3 acres of meadow and forest. Unwind watching deer, foxes and eagles outside.

The two downstairs bedrooms each have a Queen bed. The upstairs bedroom with its large open space, has 2 Queen beds (upstairs bedroom is shared sleeping area with open floor plan). All beds have new, comfortable mattresses, bedding and down comforters.

The downstairs bath has a full shower, and the upstairs bath has a smaller clawfoot bathtub.

The home has a level 2 electric car charger outlet for your use. Charging cord is not provided.

The kitchen has marble counter tops and stainless-steel appliances, and is fully stocked with quality cookware and cooking essentials (coffee, tea, olive oil and vinegar, spices, etc.)

There is a 42” flat screen TV with Netflix, Amazon, etc.

This home is equipped with electric heat and a new (2023) electric fireplace in the living room. This home also has mini-split heat/cool pump in the dining room.

There is an outdoor fire pit (seasonally available) with chairs, as well as a sunny deck with propane BBQ, table and chairs.

** Upstairs has an open concept with two (2) Queen beds and a shared bathroom. There are three (3) total bedrooms with four (4) Queen beds throughout the home. The house comfortably sleeps three couples/six people plus one or two (maximum) children.

This was such a great place! We were a group of 7 and from 2-71 years old. We all enjoyed our stay very much! Everything we needed was there and the beds were all very comfortable. We were lucky enough to have deer come through and also a few fox! We would definitely stay here again!

Very quaint home & well furnished. The kitchen was stocked with most anything imaginable to make your stay very pleasant. Close to Roche Harbor and other attractions.Directions to home on instructions were very helpful as GPS was sketchy at times

Thank you for letting us stay in your place. This house has so much charm! It is clean, has all the cooking supplies you will need and the details taken in the set up of this place are adorable! Walkable to downtown Roche Harbor, a perfect place to stay! Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay!

This house is adorable, historic, and unique to the area. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. It is out in the woods, so just know that nothing is in the immediate area; but it is easy enough to get around the island. Great location near Roche Harbor. We loved our stay and hope to rent here again in the future!

There were some basics in the pantry and some quick options too. The month of May is cold in the Pacific Northwest, so we didn't plan to sit out at night. The Tv has Netflix and prime and there is free wifi. There is a winery nearby and a resort with spa options. We will definitely return!

A cottage with a welcoming vibe

The beds were good and the a\c helped maintain a good temperature in the home. Though there is a 15-18 minute drive to Friday harbor, the drive is very visualistic. My only recommendation for those who plan to stay is to bring additional flashlights or an led lantern as it can get quite dark outside with no road lights, or lights around the open space beyond the home leading to complete darkness at night.

Not only was it extremely clean and very well kept, the house itself was shipped over on a barge from Victoria, BC and plopped on a foundation on this beautiful property (I learned this from a wonderful book they have on the house inside the rental)! It is completely surrounded by trees with a great deck and feels very private without being too secluded. There is so much character to this home and it has been so well preserved and my family and I couldn’t get over how much we loved it. Everything was spotless, fresh towels were provided for the number of guests staying in the home, and the check out instructions were very clear and easy to follow.I think it’s important to note that the upstairs space that has two beds does not have air conditioning. We happen to be visiting during a very hot weekend for the island (80+ degrees), but they did include two fans, that when placed in the windows, really cooled the space down. I would absolutely recommend this property to anybody looking to stay in the Friday Harbor/Roche Harbor area!

The home and yard were very clean and maintained. We received good communication from management. The only item not specified (but we called) was they don't provide wood for the fire pit. It didn't take long to get to and from downtown Friday Harbor and it's a beautiful drive. They had outdoor lighting on the deck. Unfortunately, we couldn't see where they turned on. It was the most well-appointed kitchen I have experienced. Lots of extras!! We loved the privacy and quiet surroundings. It was easy to feel at home. One disappointment is the check-out time. It seems quite early to have to be out of the home (10am)

Very cozy and well remodeled, a classy interior. The home mentions the fire pit but a burn ban is on all summer, would be helpful to mention that. The home absolutely requires a car it is, to note.
