Great location to set out on each days journey. Accommodations met all our needs for cooking breakfast each morning. It was nice to have a garage to park in each night.

Great house and perfect location for a family gathering. My family traveled from Nevada, California, and Florida to meet up with my son, who lives in Alaska, and this home in Wasilla turned out to be exactly what we needed for our stay. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, the space easily accommodated all of us without ever feeling crowded.The home sits on a quiet street, with shopping and amenities in Wasilla just a short drive away. The split‑level layout worked wonderfully for our group: downstairs offered two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a large open area with a TV that quickly became “the kids’ zone.” Upstairs, The primary bedroom, an additional bathroom, and another bedroom sit alongside the main living area, complete with a cozy wood‑burning stove, kitchen, and garage access.From the primary bedroom, kitchen, and dining room, we enjoyed stunning views of the mountains across the valley — a highlight of every morning. The property itself is beautiful, With a spacious backyard and a gentle slope the grandkids couldn’t stop rolling down. We spent an evening around the firepit roasting marshmallows for s’mores and hotdogs, which made for one of our favorite memories of the trip.I highly recommend this home for its thoughtful layout, peaceful location, and the care Chavonne clearly puts into making guests feel welcome. The amenities and attention to detail made our stay in Wasilla fun.

Overall, we had a good stay &the house itself was great, but unfortunately the checkin experience got things off to a frustrating start. I asked about checking in 1 hour early & after following up with the host, were told that the cleaning crew could accommodate the earlier check-in. We were very grateful, especially since we were traveling with a very small child &had planned our arrival around their needs. However, when we arrived at the agreed-upon time, the door code had not been updated, so we couldn’t get inside. We spent nearly 30 minutes messaging&calling before the host was able to remotely unlock the door. Having the code updated ahead of time would have made the process much smoother &avoided a stressful start to our stay. The house could also have used a little more attention to cleaning. The floors were noticeably dusty/dirty — after walking around barefoot while unpacking, I took a shower shortly afterward &was surprised by how dirty my feet were. The couches also had some crumbs, debris, &rubber bands on them and appeared like they could have used a quick vacuum. Noticed quite a few spiders outside & some around the kitchen sink, so a little additional pest control or maintenance may be worth considering. That being said, once we got settled in, everything was great. House itself is very nice, &we enjoyed our stay overall. These were relatively minor issues that could easily be addressed& we would definitely consider staying here again if we had the opportunity

The fan remote in the master bedroom does not work. The individual cup part of the coffee makers doesn’t work. Overall it was a very nice stay. Thank you!

Plenty of Room and Great Views

The Fleur de Lis served our purposes fine. We were mostly just there to sleep and shower and head out on our next adventure. It was as advertised and accommodated our four couples nicely. It could use a good cleaning however. It says no pets, but pets had definitley been in the basement in the past. Thankfully there were cleaning products and we gave the floors a good scrubbing and washed the sheets. We definitely left it cleaner than we found it. Pluses included beautiful views, plenty of hot water, clean showers, and nice fluffy white towels. When we did have a little issue, our host was very quick to respond.

Nice full home in a good location. Laundry facilities are a must for us as we travel as light as possible. We found the location to be an excellent home base for exploring from Seward up to mantanuska glacier. Nice to come back to a relaxing, quiet home after long days spent hiking and exploring. Well stocked kitchen - we cooked daily and the kitchen has all the tools we needed. Listing and photos are accurate. A few things that the property manager could note:1. The home needs a deep clean. Nothing major but the walls and light fixtures need to be cleaned. 2. I found it odd that only very small quantities of shampoo, conditioner, soap, dish washer soap and toilet paper were provided. I’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and these items have always been provided for the duration of the stay. The owner did provide more toilet paper and dishwasher soap after I requested it so that was nice.Overall a good stay in a wonderful state. Thank you.
