Acorn Ridge Cabin near Boone-Romantic Cabin Just for Two with Breathtaking Views

Wow! Great views as you walk in the door. You will have mountain views from every room of the cabin. Enjoy the wildlife viewing & breath the fresh air from the deck right off the Living Room. This is a newly constructed one-bedroom cabin located end of the quiet road for leisurely walks in the cool mornings and evenings. There are miles of trails for horseback riding and hiking within this private Leatherwood Mountains Community. Also, if you like fishing, there is good fishing from Elk Creek that runs just outside of Leatherwood entrance. You might not want to get back in your car too soon once you get here. It will take about an hour to the nearby cities for sightseeing, shopping or dining. We are close to Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking and exploring more nature. Please bring all your groceries. The TV room is furnished with two electric recliners and a wet-bar setup for a movie night. The fiber-optic high speed WIFI offers convenience for a quiet place to catch up on your computer work. This "Acorn Ridge Cabin" is a great mountain place to rest, relax and recharge.

Wonderful Getaway

This property was even better than we had imagined. My husband and I were so very impressed. The cabin is one of the nicest we have stayed in. It was very clean and comfortable. And had everything we needed.The hostess was amazing. We are already making plans for our next trip.

Perfect weekend stay

This listing was very accurately presented, and was very clean. The owners provided clear instructions and communication. The views were amazing, and the neighborhood very quiet and inviting. The king size bed was very comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed our weekend, and hope to plan a return trip.

Mini-Vacation Memorial Day Weekend

I had a great experience in this beautiful cabin. The cabin was clean, comfortable, well organized, the location is very private, and the view is incredible. I highly recommend. Just plan to stock up on supplies/essentials because would be a long drive to get to stores or restaurants. You won’t want to leave anyways! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin!

Peaceful getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this beautiful little cabin, and specifically how quiet it was! Definitely be sure to stop at a grocery store on the way as it is at the top of the mountain and not in close proximity to much, but that was also what we loved about it. The views were breathtaking. We drove over to Blowing Rock (an hour away), enjoyed some shopping and were excited to come back to relax at this cabin. We would definitely return.

Serenity

Our visit to Acorn Ridge Cabin was wonderful. The view is absolutely breathtaking. We drove in after dark and couldn’t appreciate just how stunning the mountains are in that area. The morning brought the beauty to light. Be prepared for the winding road up to the cabin; it takes a bit to drive. The road is well maintained and easy to navigate; you need to drive slowly due to the curves, but take your time and enjoy the gorgeous views! Also just as the description states, you are a little drive from town. That was exactly what we were looking for and exactly what we found. The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Myung checked in with us by messenger to make sure we didn’t have questions or concerns. We appreciated the open communication that was available. However, the instructions for check in/check out and stay were clear and easy to follow so we had no questions. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Wonderful Get-away for 2

We lucked out to be able to stay at this wonderful home at the heighth of Fall colors! It was amazingly beautiful everyday. The home is super comfortable and fully stocked. The Keurig downstairs was such a treat as we got to sip coffee each morning while we woke up to the outstanding view. We look forward to being back soon!

Perfect fall getaway

A perfect place to stay! It was so open an clean yet very cozy, we felt like we were at home. The view takes your breath away, absolutely stunning. It was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. It is remote and a little scary driving up the mountain but worth it once you get there. It was absolutely the peace and relaxation we needed and we would stay there again. Myung made herself available by text but we did not need anything while we were there.

Acorn Ridge in Leatherwood Mountain Resort

The house was stunning with beautiful mountains all around!! The home was well-equipped and the property owner was so very nice and easily available to answer any questions. Leatherwood is a beautiful mountain resort and has the nicest and helpful staff. Just perfect for two to make wonderful memories!!
