BEWARE!!!!!!

When we arrived, there was leftover food in the refrigerator and freezer, the host messaged me and asked that I finish the laundry leftover in the washer, and there was a car parked on the lawn from a party next door. It is listed as 4 bedroom, but literally has a walk in closet in the master bedroom with 2 bunkbeds!! Legally a bedroom has to have window and closet, this had neither. Then I just got notice that the "host" filed a fraudulent damage claim against me for a ceiling fan. There was absolutely zero damage done by us and I think since he saw we bought damage protection, he filed a claim to get some extra $. I filed a claim against him with the insurance company only due his dishonesty and attempt to scam them too. Absolute scammer slumlord. My first VRBO experience will likely be my last.

2 blankets were left in dryer and guest was contacted to alert him that due to wick turn around those two blankets were still drying but he could take the ones out of closets and use, he thanked me and said no problem. My cleaning agent leaves useful condiments and the like in the refrigerator for use by next rental . No leftovers were left in fridge. Ceiling fan in front bedroom was damaged . One of the blades was found by the cleaning agent on top of the bed covers snapped off from fan. Pictures were provided showing damage and guest had nothing to counter that . I put in a claim which was paid. This guest did not have any problems or complaints until after I made claim . Claim was not fraud and no explanation given . I think guests should not be able to rate me after a claim is made .
