This property is spacious and comfortable with a large living area and kitchen. It has a second unit next door which we also used with a small living area and bathroom, although the toilet was not working. My overall impression was the home was nice but still had a few things that needed to be done to make it rental-ready. The internet didn't work most of the time and the toilet in the second unit did not work, it was missing pillows, etc. The caretaker was really nice and stopped by to check on us and gave us a tour of the island when we got there. We had a few problems, however. First of all, this house is not within walking distance of the pool or the beach. You have to have a rental car. Even the pool, which is advertised as being on the property, is quite a hike (about 3/4 mile), which in the heat, pool items and small children is not feasible. The beach is a mile or so away further down from the pool so also not walking distance. We arrived by boat and was told we could dock out front of the property, but that was also not safe or feasible. The Caribbean side of the beach by the house is covered in sharp coral rocks/jagged cliffs and we actually punctured our dinghy trying to dock there. In the end we turned around and anchored in the bay in governor's harbor and got the rental car. The house is really hard to find, you definitely need to get the caretaker to meet you and show you how to find it, it is off the road and covered in jungle plants. On a positive note, it is very peaceful and secluded, which is great for those who wish to "get away from it all." The island is gorgeous and the beaches, including the pink sand beach behind the Beach House, is breathtaking and we liked the resort nearby with the infinity pool.
