The good: The property was clean and conveniently located.The annoying: The property was poorly supplied. It sleeps 8, but the dining table only seats 6, only 6 napkins. There were only 2 kitchen towels and no cloth or sponge to wipe down counters and stove. There was a broom but no dustpan. There were plenty of pots and skillets for stovetop cooking, but no casserole dishes/ roasting pans/ etc. for oven cooking of foods like lasagna or enchiladas. We had to purchase dishwasher pods, paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper (there was a little of each of these items, but not enough).The bizarre: The welcome snacks included an open, half-empty bottle of wine. No wine would have been fine, but a half-consumed bottle???I wavered between ranking the property at 3 or 4 stars. It was clean and convenient, so I went with the higher score. Just a little attention to details and a few inexpensive upgrades would push it up to 5 stars.

There was not any laundry service, which was disarmed. There were a few ants in the kitchen and no ant spray available. Other than that we loved the property and convenience of the location.

Ants in the kitchen, not enough towels, gas smell - fixed by owner on day two; shower in primary did not drain properly, told there would be 2 parking spots on garage pad and 2 in garage, instructions in house stated no garage parking allowed; advertisement stated 3 bathrooms, but actually only 2 and a powder room. Big difference.

A lovely home. Plenty of room for our family. Very comfortable beds and good size bedrooms. They provide a great selection of tea and coffee which was nice. The patio was great for coffee in the morning and relaxing In the evening.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Monterey! The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, and felt incredibly comfortable and inviting from the moment I walked in. The location was perfect—just a short 15-minute drive to some of the most scenic spots in the area, including Pebble Beach, the iconic 17-Mile Drive, and charming Carmel-by-the-Sea.The host was fantastic—very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during my visit to the Central Coast. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming home in Marina! The house was super cute, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. You can tell the owners put care into the details—it really felt like a home away from home. Great location too—quiet and peaceful, but still close to everything. We’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend

Overall a good property with very comfortable beds, most kitchenware we needed, a good washer dryer, and generally clean spaces. We were a group of 6 staying for a week and there were a few things that became irritating for that duration, such as a bedroom door handle that didn't stay on, multiple rooms with window blinds or shades that didn't work, a very small kitchen trash and no extra full size trash bags. For the price these feel like changes the owner could and should make.

The property was very clean and nicely decorated. I appreciated the complimentary snacks and beverages. The kitchen was well equipped. The neighborhood was very quiet which I appreciated. Location was very close to Marina State Beach not walking distance but a quick drive there. The house was comfortable for all family members. I did send a question regarding the property in May for a booking in July which I didn’t receive a response to until right before our stay. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.
