Entire Space of Modern Apartment Downtown Vancouver Neighbourhood

Welcome to our mordern one bedroom apartment in one of Vancouver's trendiest neighborhoods. Steps from amazing food, drink and scenery.
This neighborhood is also home to a colourful community: with a
police station, social services and low-income
housing nearby. The area is safe but some
of the challenges common to large cities
such as mental health, prostitution and drug
addiction are apparent. Our neighborhood
is in transition with emerging artist studios,
corporate head offices, breweries/distilleries
and restaurants.
There is an edginess to the area that we
appreciate, but it isn't for everyone. Please
consider this when deciding if our funky
apartment is a good fit for your stay!
This location is IDEAL if you're a foodie! Steps
away from Vancouver's top restaurants:

Great apartment!

The apartment was small but had everything we needed. The location was within easy walking distance of Gastown and Chinatown. As the hosts are very clear about, there are a lot of homeless people in the area. However, we did not feel unsafe when walking around and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Accommodations for Cast Member

We had a cast member from out of town stay at Jason's unit and he was an incredible host. Very responsive, generous, kind and was really gracious where there was some miscommunications around our check out times.

A wonderful trip... Even though I was with my Parents

My parents and I were traveling all up and down the west coast by train. We had a get time in Vancouver! This appointment is very close to the train station, and even though the neighborhood is a little rough around the edges, we never had any problems. There are solid restaunts nearby. Check-in was extremely easy, and Jason, the host, was very accommodating when we requested an early check-in. The most difficult and frustrating thing about this stay is trying to leave this review using Vrbo's app. Vrbo, you can do better. Jason, your home was lovely. Thank you!

Not what we expected

Place was very small. It was supposed to be for 4 people, way too small not enough sleeping space. No pull out couch. Not air conditioning for whole apartment. The location was not good lots of homeless people in area. We didn't feel safe walking around the area. Would not recommend.

Clean and Stunning Unit. Worth the price

Apartment is clean and beautiful! Close to everything. The neighborhood is not the best but definitely worth the price. I would definitely book again whenever i visit vancouver

VRBO Vancouver

The VRBO property was great but not in the best location due to lots of homeless people. Did not feel safe to walk the streets around the property.

Very bad Neighborhood in 1 mile radio, take uber don't walk. AC unit tow small, rooms never get cool air. Sofa on living room was advertised as "sofa bed". Definitively it was not a "SOFA BED"

Great Location, Very Clean Unit

It was a short stay, my self and my partner stayed at this cozy apartment for 3 days, we paul was an amazing host, communication was great and very helpful with directions and parking.

Great communication, good condo, poor area

The description of the property's location does indicate that it is a sketchy area, but my memory/assumptions about how bad the Downtown Eastside has become - while low - did not prepare me for what a disaster it is. That said, the unit itself was as advertised and the renter was responsive and very helpful. I appreciate his professionalism.

Short Stay before Cruise

Great location to stay before our Alaskan cruise! Lots of places to visit within walking distance. The place was nice, clean and modern. Would definitely book again!

Review of our stay

We had a very pleasant experience staying at the property. It was very clean and tidy. The owner was easy to communicate with and check-in was simple. Would recommend this place to anyone.
