This stylish 3-bedroom townhome is the perfect launching pad for year-round fun in Tahoe! Whether you are after a beach getaway or a skiing trip, the home is well located for it all, with King's Beach within walking distance and Northstar Ski Resort 15 minutes away. After a day of fun, return to this family-friendly home where you will find everything you need to relax and entertain and plenty of space to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. Your Tahoe adventure starts here!

The Space:
Enter the home either through the attached garage or the front door, where you will find a tiled entryway with a bench and coat hooks to unload your outdoor gear. Down the hallway, you will find the living room/dining area/kitchen, a space filled with natural light and stylish decor. This well-laid-out space is perfect for socializing or relaxing in one open area. Sit back and relax in the cozy living room where you will find a plush sofa and a lounge chair situated around the fireplace with a Smart TV mounted above.

Step into the fully equipped kitchen where you will find ample cabinet and counter space, a pantry, and all the basic cookware needed to easily whip up delicious meals at home. Enjoy a meal with your group at the dining table where you will find seating for 6, or grab a spot in the kitchen bar on one of the three bar stools. A cozy sitting area adjacent to the kitchen with two stylish chairs and a bar cart is a nice spot to enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Rounding out the downstairs is a half-bathroom just down the hallway from the kitchen.

Next to the dining table are the sliding glass patio doors that lead out to the private patio. Step outside and enjoy the peaceful surroundings on the private patio, which includes patio chairs and a wooden picnic table.

When you are ready to tuck in for the night, you will find the home’s 3 bedrooms located upstairs, providing a nice separation of space between the living and sleeping areas. Each of the 3 bedrooms includes plush carpeting, a Smart TV, a Google home speaker, and a portable fan adding to the comforts of the rooms. The master bedroom is a dynamic space with a comfortable king-size bed to rest in, and a cozy workspace tucked next to 2 windows. The bedroom workspace features a desk, chair, and printer, great for any remote work needs as the home features 310 Mbps Wi-Fi, so you can check in on emails with ease. The spacious bedroom also includes a large walk-in closet and a dresser, providing ample room to store your personal belongings. Freshen up before bed in the ensuite master bathroom, where you will find a double-sink vanity and a large shower with sliding glass doors.

The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, matching nightstands with lamps, and 2 large windows filling the space with natural light. The third bedroom is the perfect room for sharing, or for kids to stay with 2 twin-over-twin bunk beds, kids will love having slumber parties in here! The bedroom includes a dresser, a closet with toys, and a play tepee tucked in the corner that your kids are going to love playing with! A full bathroom for shared use is located next to the guest bedrooms and boasts a single-sink vanity with ample storage space and a bathtub/shower combo. The home also includes a full-size washer and dryer, making it easy to keep up with any laundry needs during your stay.

Guests will have access to the entire home and an outdoor patio. Guests will also have access to 1 parking place in the garage, and up to 3 parking places in the driveway on the left side.

The Neighborhood:
This bright and inviting townhome is in an unbeatable location for enjoying all that Tahoe has to offer. Located just under half a mile from Kings Beach, you can easily walk down to this beautiful beach where you will find a wide variety of watercraft available to rent for some water fun! This funky little beach town has plenty of entertainment and dining options for you to enjoy with a wide variety of restaurants, cute boutiques and a farmer's market for shopping, and free concerts that happen in the summer. If there is a golfer in your group, they will love the fact that the home is only a three-minute drive away from the Brockway Golf Club course. In the winter the golf course is open for XC skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and dog walking. You are also only 10 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort, with the added bonus that the location of the house will keep you away from the ski traffic through Kings Beach. If you are looking for XC trails you are less than a 7-minute drive to the North Tahoe Regional Park, or if you are feeling extra adventurous you can access their trail system from Tiger Ave which is 1.5 miles from the house. This same trail system is great for hiking and biking in the summer. With its easy access to town, ski resorts, golfing, and the lake, this home is a great home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year.

Getting Around:
The home is within a 5-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop HWY 28 at Fox St which runs every hour. Or make the short drive or walk down to Kings Beach, where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 and HWY 28 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City.

Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.

Other Things to Note:
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. However, there are fans located in every room.

Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used.

4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.

Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

Beautiful Stay in Kings Beach

This was a great place to stay for my family stay for Spring Break. The townhome is clean, comfortable and well stocked with toiletries and kitchen supplies and basic ingredients (full spice rack, oil, coffee/tea, microwave popcorn was a plus, Ziploc bags). The neighborhood was quiet and very convenient to all Tahoe has to offer. We skiied both Palisades and Diamond Peak so we were centrally located. Great stay!

King's Beach Retreat

This King's Beach Tahoe house was perfect for our ski weekend getaway! We had 5 adults stay there very comfortably. The location was great! It was about a 10 min. drive to the Northstar Resort and maybe a 5 min. drive to the little King's Beach downtown area. The home was clean and well stocked with kitchenware items. The beds were super comfortable as well. It was also nice to have access to at least 1 garage bay for storing a car and all our ski equipment. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and the check-in process was super easy as well. We would definitely recommend this rental to medium sized groups of family and friends!
