Location was fantastic ! Views of the ocean from the decks was a perfect way to start each day. Some wear and tear but the condo was clean and spacious. Host was responsive and helpful.Hope to return to this paradise!Danielle

Best stay Ever

Greatly surprised with the amount of space on this penthouse.Love the town and the many different options nearby. food trucks at a walking distance, grocery store 10 minuted away. Jobos Beach just a few minutes walk on the beach.Everything is good vibes and relaxation.Looking forward to come back soon!

Spacious and clean condo. However, we felt it was over priced for what it had to offer. The beds weren’t so comfortable and most furniture inside was outdoor furniture, not so comfortable either. Although entrance to condo seemed pretty updated and easy to get into, we kept having issues with not being able to open the door. The pool was not very clean and although it is beachfront property, we were disappointed that it was not for swimming. We ended up checking out a day early as most activities we wanted to do were on the east side of the island and due to an injury. Both vrbo and owner kept saying to ask each other about some sort of refund. I never heard back from owner after I told him vrbo stated I needed to ask him.

2025 PR Family vacation

We recently stayed at this condo and overall had a decent experience. The best part was definitely the location—convenient to restaurants, shops, and local attractions, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and had what we needed for a short stay.However, the check-in process was more difficult than expected. Communication could have been clearer, and we ran into some delays and confusion getting access to the unit. It was frustrating after a day of travel.Also, while we were excited to be near the beach, it wasn’t quite what we hoped for—not the most inviting shoreline and not ideal for swimming or relaxing during our visit.That said, if you’re looking for a place with great access to town and don’t mind a few hiccups, this spot could work well. A few improvements would make it an even better stay.

Everything & More

The property was very spacious and accommodating to our family of 6. It’s a beautiful 15 minute walk on the beach to the popular and our favorite jobos beach. The property pool was refreshing and clean. Jobos food stop a popular food truck pod is a 2 min walk where you’ll find pizza, Puerto Rican cuisine, açaí bowls, frappes, tacos and and outdoor bar with outdoor pool tables to enjoy. The local Econo grocery store is a quick 5 minute drive from the property. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to visiting beautiful Isabela again.

Review March Visit

The property was as advertised, and was convenient and spacious. There are is some attention needed though, some items were in previous reviews too but we assumed they'd be fixed.Several of the toilets consistently ran and/or didn't flush (penthouse in particular). Towel racks are needed in all the bathrooms. The air conditioners worked just fine but better instructions are needed... it took us a while to find all the remotes and figure things out.The towels were skimpy, and there were none for the kitchen. The kitchen countertop is burned (cosmetic issue). Check in was problematic. We didn't receive codes. When we tried to contact the owner, he had posted a note with a telephone number that was invalid. We tracked him down through VRBO, and he called us back, but we were really glad we started tracking down the info early in the day before we got there.The owner told us to call if we had any issues once there, and we could have called about the toilets. But the toilet was turned off when we got there.. someone already knew about the problem and hadn't fixed it.. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The property was clean. The pool is very nice. The walk to Jobos beach is more like 10 - 15 minutes but the beach in front of the property, while not swimmable, is interesting. There are tidepools to search. we found octopi, which made us quite happy.

Secure, quiet location

It was more suitable to older people or single people not families.We got in trouble for playing at the pool. It seems as though it is more for decoration or lounging.It was quiet and secure at the property. The AC in a bedroom wasnt working while we were there. There were some other issues that needed a repair man, from before our arrival. Overall it was fine. It gave us a place to land. Property nanager was responsive to messages.

Great family villa in Jobos

Perfect location & arrangement for a family --- we've stayed in a few different units within this development and love the area. This unit is very spacious and is a great setup for those traveling with family. We look forward to being back.

Perfect location

The apartment was nice and accommodating for my group and I. It looked just like the photos. The gated community was a plus. I felt completely safe. The pool was great to dip in after a long day of exploring. Just keep in mind it is only open until 8pm. The owner responded quickly and was helpful.The location was awesome. We were able to visit different beaches and attractions and they were not too far. My favorite was Pena Blanca Beach and it was less than 20 minutes away. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on this side of the island.

Very nice apartment in a special place!

This is a very nice apartment in a great location in Isabela, PR. It is very spacious and accommodates 9 people. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and having a washer and dryer is a great benefit. Best of all, the apartment has multiple AC units that keep it nice and cool, this is super important in Puerto Rico! The beach immediately behind it is not safe for swimming, but you can take a beautiful walk along the sand dunes. You can drive to several beaches in just a few minutes (Jobos and Montones are the closest ones). There are lots of other beautiful beaches on the Aguadilla side, so dont miss out on Punta Borinquen, Pena Blanca and Surfers Beach). The area has a great variety of restaurants and bars, so go out and explore Puerto Rican cuisine. The apartment complex has a nice pool, but they have a ton of rules and it closes early (8pm). I wish they could at least leave it open until 10pm. Overall, this is a great place to stay if you want to enjoy the Northwest Coast of the island.

Location is beautiful! The apartment however needs upgrades!

1. 3 out of the 6 Air Conditioners Did Not work. Weather in Puerto Rico during our stay was over 100 degrees! 2. Laundry Room didn’t have ventilation so the apartment got even HOTTER and water went all over the floor! 3. Rust & Mildew on the Fridge (Ice/Water Dispenser) 4. 3rd floor apartment with NO elevator! I didn’t see that anywhere in the description of the property. Had that been the case, we would’ve never rented the property since we were traveling with an elderly woman. 5. 1 of the Ceiling Fans in the 2nd floor Master bedroom didn’t work. 6. TV in the 2nd floor Master bedroom didn’t work. 7. Some of the lights didn’t work (Light going upstairs to the 2nd floor master bedroom. 8. Wi-Fi wasn’t working at times. We were booked for 7 days and we had to leave by day 2. The place has potential if all of the issues are Fixed and/or Replaced with new equipment.

Anniversary trip

We had a wonderful stay - anniversary trip with our adult children. Plenty in area to explore - beaches, hikes, waterfalls. Loved that we could walk to multiple places to eat, enjoyed Kai restaurant at Jobos beach and sampling the food trucks at top of hill - thank you for the suggestions of beaches/restaurants! Condo time on the decks, playing games at night, pool - all great! Thoroughly enjoyed, would love to come back.

Beautiful location

The grounds of the complex were impeccable. The condo itself was comfortable for seven people but dated. It had all the comforts of home but lacked a few things such as no lamps on the nightstands, and no towel rods in the bathrooms. Just plastic hooks on the back of the doors but most were broken off. The TV in the penthouse didn't work. It had no network connection. Also, a wet mop was left in the utility room which smelled of dirty mop upon entering the room. We loved the grounds, Especially the swimming pool. Also, loved the food trucks right in front of the complex. The freshness and quality of the food and the price beat all the surrounding restaurants.

Excellent Setup for Family Vacation

This apartment was perfect for a vacation with our large & varied family (4 adults, one teen, one child, and twin infants). It was great to have a separate penthouse area for us grandparents while our kids and their kids had space on the main floor. We run a business, so a separate space was necessary for daytime while we worked, made phone calls, held meetings. The three bathrooms also made this arrangement work for this group! The kitchen and dining table were very well situated and worked out well for us. The AC units in each room made it comfortable everywhere, and the outdoor balcony spaces were excellent with fabulous views! Loved the pool and the adjacent beach, though it was too rough for the children to swim in. But Jobos Beach is very close by, with plenty of safer swimming. Also nearby in the other direction is the Econos grocery store--an absolute necessity with so many people. We had a problem at first with the water heater not working, but it was replaced after a few days and we had no further problems. Overall, I rate it very highly for the convenience of the layout of the apartment and the appeal of the amenities. All were very good for a family such as ours.

This place was a dream

Family of 7 from IL. Kids 15-24 and 2 adults. Flew into San Juan but did learn later there were closer airports, none the less made for a beautiful 2 hour drive near the coast. Check in was easy with the gate & the lock code given. The unit was just as described & everything we were looking for. We got there about 6 pm in Jan. just in time to catch the beautiful sky as the sun set over the west coast. The pool was a site to see along w/ the beach right outside the top floor balcony. The a/c units were strong and at times even too cold. The unit provided soft bedding & blankets, beach & bath towels, soaps, 4 chairs for the beach, a small cooler & beach toys. We did purchase a beach umbrella we left with the unit, hopefully if you go there you'll still find it ◡̈. We loved the top floor suite & having our private quarters. I do love darkness however & that beautiful sun does not hide after 7:06 am so if you want to sleep in a little, I suggest a little sleep mask. That a/c unit up there & the fan though, I slept like a baby. The beach out of the area is perfect to walk on & in, but just have to walk a little more to the right to get to Jobos Beach to swim. We enjoyed all of the local restaurants such as Palo, Sonida del Mar, Hula's & Kai. Tsunami Surf Shop offers rental boogie boards & next door has the best smoothies and coffee with a view. Just left & wish we could go back tomorrow. Very gracious hosts that would answer a text within minutes. Thank you for sharing your home!

There are plenty of beds for extra people in 2 rooms. The upstairs suite is a bit peculiar. I expected more usable deck space with better views but judging from our travels in the area this was a good choice since we wanted 4 bedrooms. It is not as nice as we expected from the reviews. Our host was very helpful and responsive. The location is pretty good but do not plan on walking to Jobos beach along the road at night it would be very dangerous. Plan on streaming your own media. WiFi is very slow. Probably all that is available. Overall a solid VRBO. The grill in the laundry room is for guest use we found out a little too late.

Close To Puerto Rico's Best Beaches, calm and away from the metropolitan area, surrounded by natural beaty, restaurants, beach bars, and amazing food! I discovered my home back in 2008 while visiting Isabela for the first time. After a 2 night stay in the area, was convinced this is what paradise is, so I extended my stay for an additional night and I spend the following day searching for a home. After looking at all the apartments available down this coast, I came across Haudimar and my search was over. I was captivated and the same day I provided a down-payment to start the process of owning my own piece of paradise.
