Winter is back and it’s going to be a big one! Enjoy Big Snow Country in this great centrally located house. Large parking area at the house for snowmobile trailers .2 blocks from trail 77. Iron county offers over 260 miles of groomed trails. If you are a downhill skier you’re in luck. Whitecap is 6 miles,Powderhorn is 13.5 miles Snowriver and Blackriver basin 18 miles.If you enjoy a more tranquil experience enjoy the peace and quiet of snowshoeing or Nordic skiing on groomed trails in iron county Montreal trail is 2 blocks ABR and Wolverine located in Ironwood Mi. Don’t miss out on this great winter wonderland. The end of the day come back to a very cozy house top of the evening with a sauna!

Host was very welcoming and made sure to plow us out promptly when we got some snow—thank you! The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. The sauna was an incredible amenity that we enjoyed very much after our days of playing in the snow. Nearby ski trails were easily accessible and Ironwood was a short drive for anything else. A great trip!

The house was well kept up, clean and in a prime location to hit the atv trails. We will definitely stay here again. We all 4 thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Perfect location to ride out of on our side by sides. Trail is very close! The home is well stocked with dishes and cookware. We enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit in the evening. Throughly enjoyed staying here, will stay again next year!

Waterfall hiking trip

We stayed here in order to hike to nearby waterfalls. It was a little distance from each but great in between spot to hit all the major ones we wanted to see. The house was also a great size and the hosts were very kind and left us snacks and toys for the kids. We enjoyed the outdoor fire and games too! We had a great experience!

Beautiful property! Was nicely tucked back in a secluded area with a beautiful yard. It had a nice firepit and chairs and even stocked with wood for fires. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were also convenient. The sauna looked interesting too we were just a little too busy to use it. Kitchen was stocked and convenient. We enjoyed the Norwegian spruce in the front yard also would recommend!

Amazing Host! Great house!

This place was perfect for our trip up north. The house has all the things you need. Even extra things you may have forgot. The house was clean and ready for us. Jon &Pam let us check in earlier.There is plenty of space for everyone to have space of their own.They even left us wonderful welcome gift. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Amazing place to stay!

This house has plenty of space and bedrooms. There was 8 adults that stayed and plenty of room for all of us without feeling like we were on top of each other. We also brought our side by sides, plenty of room for all of our trucks & trailers.

We stayed here for the pet friendly and reasonable price. It is a large house that would be perfect for a larger group and very close to trail system.

Big Snow Country - Pence, Wisconsin

This property is very cozy, comfortable, and quiet. It is a great location to access the ski areas in Ironwood/Bessemer/Wakefield and the snowmobile trails in Northern Wisconsin and the U.P.The property is well stocked and we appreciated the hosts' gifts of fresh bread, blueberry jam, and treats for our dog.We look forward to staying here again.

Stayed for some trail riding

House served as exactly as needed house was very clean and had more cook ware and other supplies items than ever expected absolutely enjoyed the sauna especially after a late cold ride beds were comfortable and house was very cozy had plenty of parking for our 40 ft goose neck our group will definitely be back

Awesome place

The house and property were great for my guys! They stayed for 14 weeks and had a great stay! The hosts are some of the nicest people I've ever met. If i could give 10 stars i would! If we are ever near here we will book this without hesitation.

One Night Stay

Property was clean and as advertised. 😁 Host responded quickly and was warm and friendly. There were dog treats, chocolates, and s'more fixings when we arrived. What a pleasant surprise. I'd recommended this place.

Cold winter stay.

Went to area to ski, but due to extreme cold weather, could only ski one day. The house was great. Beds and bedding were great. Hot chocolate and bagels left by property owner were a nice treat. Grandkids loved all the games. Couldn't find the shower at first, but then located it behind the door in the sauna. We all love saunas, so an added treat.

Phenomenal Rental

We had 5 couples stay the weekend at this property. There was plenty of room for everyone, house was clean, and well stocked. When i say this house is well stocked I mean it! Anything imaginable you would need in the kitchen, garbage bags, ziploc bags, even tooth brushes and toothpaste. You could show up here and only need your clothes and food. Jon was very responsive to any questions we had before arriving and we were met with a very thoughtful gift of a box pf personalized cookies. We are planning on booking again for next year and would hands down recommend this rental.

Snowmobiling Home Base

We had 8 people who stayed here to snowmobile. The house was very comfortable with room for all of us to eat and sleep. Each of the five bedrooms had comfortable beds and the large dining room table made dining together enjoyable. We also played games at the table in the evening and the games are in the house for your use. The shower in the sauna was awesome. The wood burning stove made the shower room warm. The owner supplied plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and anything you will need if you forget something, There were also lots of towels and washcloths. Another benefit for snowmobiliers was the large driveway. The house is situated at the end of the road, so there was plenty of room for our three snowmobile trailers and four trucks....and there was still room for eight snowmobiles. Finally, I want to mention that Jon and Pam were very quick to respond to our needs, We had an issue and contacted Jon and he was there in a short amount of time and handled the situation. They are both so friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
