Park your car onsite at the house and walk 8 minutes (0.4 mile) to Red Line Metro station to access downtown DC with less than 30 minutes and most DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia) metro areas. Family friendly in a safe and vibrant neighborhood surrounded by restaurants, groceries (Wegmans, Whole Food, Trader Joe’s, Fresh Market, Giant, Target, Oriental Store, etc), shops, parks and schools. Minutes to downtown Rockville, Bethesda, Navy hospital, and NIH. Side walks take you everywhere on foot, including recreation parks. Very nice house! Everything as advertised. Nice quiet neighborhood, big backyard n great fire pit for relaxing and catching up with old friends that I was in town to visit for a class reunion.

We were in town to meet my new nephew. It was comfortable with pleanty of space for the 4 of us. The house/ property was more than we expected. The host kept in contact and answered questions in a timely manner. We even had a very much needed bottle of wine upon our arrivel. We needed for nothing except food while we were there. There were so many coices of shops and eateries around the area. We took a trip to Washington to visot the Air and space museum which was an easy drive from this location and very memorable. I want to thank our host for making this one of the best vacations weve had as a family. We will definitely be staying here again.

The house was comfortable and clean, beds were nice. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the Metro station through a safe neighborhood. We initially had challenges with the alarm being set, probably due to a widespread outage changing the settings. Then we had a couple of days of the temperature being too hot and too cold. That was corrected but didn't happen as quickly as we would have liked. We did enjoy sitting out back watching a beautiful sunset! It's a pleasant, convienent house and I recommend it for families.

Great for DC visit

We had a group of couples w the same Anniversary. We took Amtrak into town from NC so we did a lot of walking but enjoyed access to the train into DC and also the local restaurants. Took Uber a few times. The place was clean and well stocked!

Truly excellent experience in every way!

We were attending a conference and needed easy access to the Metro. This place was perfect. Very nice house, confortable, clean, so easy to get to the Metro, and it had everything we needed. Location was excellent for shopping/restaurants. Very reasonable in price. A box of some of the best cupcakes I've ever had were delivered on our final night there. We will be back for any future conferences. This place was exceptional!

Perfect home base

Jay’s home is located in a very convenient location, short drive to shops, restaurants and Twinbrook metro station (parking pass included!). We had all the essentials provided as well as thoughtful additions that were a pleasant surprise (bottle of wine, water, soda, chocolates, coffee). Everything worked as described. Nice private backyard with fire pit and dining table. Family of four with two kids (6-3 that loved the Star Wars room with light up bed, so cool), we would stay again.
