Excellent Ski in Ski out condo Upper whistler village

Very nice condo, true ski in and ski out from the Blackcomb gondola. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants of the Whistler Upper Village.

Great location slope side

This was a comfortable stay and easy in and out. Everything you need is at hand and there is plenty of space for a family with teenagers. Nothing fancy, but very convenient for some great skiing.

The owner has been very thoughtful stocking all the necessary kitchenware, the reading light is excellent, the couches/chairs are all new, the beds were incredibly comfortable, all the finishes are top quality and it has a washer/dryer. This is now our preferred condo in Whistler. The rental process, including Acer's help in obtaining ski tickets and transportation, was top notch.

It was walking distance (20 min into the village) and ski in with 5 min walk to the lifts. Clint was very helpful and was always trying to make sure everything was perfect for us. The only complaint we had was the size of the hot tub was way too small for this size of a complex. This was an issue almost every evening after skiing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been doing the annual boy's ski trip since 1986 in high-school and finding a cool place has always been a challenge. This place is perfect with tons of space, amazing location and beautiful views of Blackcomb. Excellent water pressure and all the bells and whistles needed. Even the parking deck is great. We didn't hit the hot tub because it was always pretty packed and only holds maybe 8 max. Ideally, they'd add a second hot tub one day like the other places have next door. The walk to the slopes is about 500 feet, and you can easily walk down to the bars & restaurants right down the slope which is probably another few hundred yards down the hill. No need for shuttles all week!!!!!!!

The kitchen was well stocked with lots of dishes & glasses – proper ones for the adults and plastic for the kiddies, and a grill on one of the decks. We ate dinner in each night with 3 families/14 people and had enough dishes and space (not all 14 slept there – we rented 2 condos, but all ate together). It had nicer beds & sheets/better furniture than I usually find in rentals. Bathrooms clean & very nice; plenty of towels provided. Washer & dryer are very small, but useful. We stayed in July and appreciated the air conditioning & black-out curtains (it was warmer than we would have thought!). The unit faces west, so no bright morning sun, but nice view. Overlooks the pool, but we had no noise issues (suppose that depends on who else is staying). The pool is small, but nice for a quick dip. Free wifi was nice, since our Sprint service was on $$$ roaming otherwise. Free parking was good, as we left the car and walked. Easy walk down to the Upper Village-location was great. Booked through – super helpful and got a night free promo, so great price. We can’t wait to go back!

Great location

We’ve been to Whistler several times, but this was the first time we’ve stayed in the Upper Village. This property was a quick 5 minute walk to restaurants and shops, and we loved the ski in/ski out accessibility. The unit was clean and well appointed….perfect for our group of 7

The location is a big part of what we liked as it was close to the Blackcomb gondola and provided easy easy to the village and many restaurants but was in a quiet setting. The unit was very accurately portrayed in the pictures and the description was also very accurate. There were no suprises other than the boardgames games which we did enjoy playing. It was very clean and comfortable and everything was in good condition. Having robes was a nice touch! For us, the kitchen was a little small though we ate most of our meals out; it did have all the supplies we needed for our purposes. We appreciated having the binder of area attractions and directions for things. This was our first visit to Whistler and it was INCREDIBLE! Although we are avid skiers, we were here in the summer and definitely want come back. In fact, Whistler is a place I could live. Biking, hiking, kayaking, and beauty everywhere you look. This unit is in a good location for skiing too about 100 yards or so from a slope making it ski-in/ski-out but no views of the slopes from this unit. I would definitely consider staying at this location again.

Perfect ski-in / ski-out. The kitchen was new and everything about the condo was perfect. Our only complaint was waiting for the elevator (the location of this condo made stairs arduous) and the hot tub was usually crowded. But we loved it and had a great time!

Very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Ran out of hot water pretty quickly in the master bedroom. It was actually 90 degrees the week we were there. Air conditioning worked great and grateful for it. Thank you to the owners.The building itself wasn't in great condition. Work was being done right outside my door in the hallway for much of the week, which was very loud and blocked the hallway and sometimes my door.

The loft however is not for little kids as it is open and could be dangerous for little kids. The main room has a very nice and big king size bed. The high ceiling is a plus. The building itself is nothing special and the pool area is pretty small. The unit is really nice.

While we were a little disappointed with the pool size, the water was just the right temperature and our kids had a blast. The Because of the pool size, it tends to get a bit crowded at times. Proximity to the Upper Village, Village Center and parks was great as well. Bikes helped!

We'll Return Again!

Though we were on vacation, as a home educating family, we brought along some of our projects and there was plenty of room for everyone to be working. The suite was clean, convenient and comfortable. Access to the washer and dryer was wonderful. The kitchen, always a priority for me, was well equipped and had exactly what we needed to make meal preparation a breeze after a day on the hill. So happy there is a slowcooker in the suite. We appreciate the ski in/out location and short walk to the village for supplies, shopping and restaurants. We come up to Whistler by bus, so accessibility is important. We've been a couple times to ski here and plan to return again and again. Shout out to the library! It's beautiful and out of town guests can get book borrowing privileges for duration of their visit.

Amazing Accommodation!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have just returned from an amazing stay at Greystone. The condo is of very high quality and is very well equipped, far more than most places we have rented to date. The property was spotless and in great repair. The location is also excellent and even with a shortfall of snow this year, the walk to the slope was only 2 minutes. The bus stop is across the road from the condo and the bus service is excellent. I would highly recommend this property.
