Cabin #1 sits atop a steep ridge over the White River. Facing the front of the cabin is a huge mountain point that looks like a wall of trees. One of only 3 cabins at the resort, major updates is turning this cabin into the new favorite. This cabin has a screened in porch down the side and back and both with amazing river views! There is also an extended porch with a pub style seating area where you feel on top of the world. Watch eagles, otters, geese, and all kind of bird species. You may get a chance to see the huge military planes fly by right over the river! Downstairs from the extended porch is a new hot tub with a newly built lower level river view deck. Just under 30 minutes from Mountainview or Batesville this is an idea location for any of the many events held in these tourist towns and Blanchard Spring caverns. Cabin #1 is closest to the pool with the only pool view from your porch. The amenities here are endless but only 3 cabins share all the common areas: the pool, 2-acre lake that waterfalls into the river, huge outdoor fireplace, pavilion, gazebo, The Outhouse Lounge with a pool table, pinball, kayaks, paddle boat, jon boat, and other games plus acres to explore or rock hunt. The cabins are spaced out enough for each one to have their own privacy and their own comforts. Enjoy the vibe this secluded area has-if you love outdoors and beautiful scenery-you came to the right place. If exploring Arkansas is on your schedule this property will check all the boxes. Inside is a modern cabin made of beautiful wood, with high beams and light decor. A private fire pit area on a rock structure, outdoor shower, new hot tub with an extended deck downstairs has all been added in January 2026.

We had the most wonderful Christmas & New Year’s stay at this cabin! It was incredibly cozy, spotless, and felt like a true home away from home. The hosts went above and beyond, even preparing a traditional New Year’s meal of black-eyed peas, cornbread, and cabbage for us—such a thoughtful and delicious touch! We loved having access to the kayaks and spent a great afternoon fishing on the water. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway!"

RELAX.... STAY A WHILE

This place is a surprise gem of delightful perfection. Our cabin was wonderful! The views of the White River are bresthtaking as one sits on her choice of screened or non-screened decks drinking coffee early in the morning. Plenty to do. Relaxing is what we did. Fishing in a private pond netted a 2 pound bass.We swam 3 times a day. The hosts we awesome.And surprise.........the price was very, very reasonable. We stayed a week and felt good all the time. Our kiddos were not glued to electronics but instead they played with the owners dogs and fished or swam for hours. We will be back! Worth every dime.

Stay at The Ridge

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Ridge! Check in was a breeze and the property was beautiful, clean, and secluded while still being a perfect commute distance from downtown Batesville and Jamestown Crag. We brought our 7 year old daughter along and she was delighted to find that there were toys and candy at the cabin when we arrived. We made use of the pool and the stunning back deck. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was great! Not to mention the bathtub!! Wow. Just a spectacular property. Awesome property

We stayed 3 nights , this property is amazing and so peaceful , very clean and property manager and owner very nice . We never left property , we swam and fished and enjoyed the quiet evenings on the porch overlooking the white river . There are all kinds of things to do at property , swim , fish, play basketball , a fire pit, a gazebo , and at the outhouse you can play pool or games etc . We will definitely return here . Phone service is not great but you can connect to Wi-Fi calling , but I’ll say this it was nice to not have cell service for a change 😂. Our fur baby enjoyed the property as well she was able to run and play . I give this place 10 stars !!!

My husband Brian and I bought this property in September 2023. We were looking for a retirement home for ourselves in the gorgeous Ozarks. We had no intention of running a vacation rental again until we laid eyes on this property and could see all the great things that could be done to make this the best vacation destination for people like us that enjoy outdoors and having fun. Our goal is to retire here in the coming years and to make this more of a resort where meals will be offered, and daily and nightly activities will be a part of the experience. For now, there will be an onsite manager that lives in the main house and will be able to help with any needs a guest may have. We will come ourselves from time to time to relieve her and enjoy the property while we still continue to work our regular jobs in Texas. We have owned vacation rentals before on Lake Palestine in Texas with VRBO before and had a 4.8 review rating. We will bring the same energy and enthusiasm to our Arkansas guests with true hospitality and customer service.

I would like to say this area chose us-We were looking to be on the river and had looked at several places near Mountainview. This one being 20 miles away, we thought what the heck. As we drove in and the dense woods opened up to the green grass and we could see the cabins, the river, and the pool and we both were hooked- although neither one of us would admit it. We spent nearly all day there contemplating if we could handle all of this and eventually, about a month later, the property won. We hope people love it as much as we do.

This property has an array of outdoor activities that everyone enjoys and is within 20 miles of two major tourist cities: Mountainview and Batesville. The rolling hills and mountains, the lush green grass, the fact that only three cabins share all of these amenities is very unique. Also unique is the ideal that if a family or friends want to vacation together there is alone space and common area space to indulge in.
