Regarding the hot water heater, we want to clarify that the system was functional during your stay; however, it was experiencing an intermittent issue that caused the unit to reset unexpectedly. Unfortunately, this occurred while you were in the home, and despite our efforts, we were unable to have a plumber on-site immediately during your stay. Since your departure, the issue has been fully diagnosed and repaired, and the hot water system is now operating reliably. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused, particularly having to deal with resets and inconsistent hot water. We understand how disruptive that can be and appreciate your patience while we worked to address the situation. The offered $150 discount was intended to acknowledge this disruption. Thank you again for your feedback, which helps us improve the experience for future guests.

I wanted to address your concerns regarding supplies. We provide a starter set of essentials, including toilet paper, trash bags, and paper towels, to help get you started. After that initial set, guests typically need to purchase any additional supplies based on their needs and the length of their stay. We do our best to ensure that these starter supplies are sufficient for most stays, but we appreciate your feedback and will review how we can better accommodate larger groups in the future. Regarding the quiet hours, the City of Carlsbad mandates that quiet hours are from 10 PM to 10 AM daily. This is to ensure that all residents can enjoy a peaceful environment. I apologize for any discomfort this may have caused during your stay. We understand that it can be challenging to navigate noise levels, especially when trying to enjoy family time. We’re grateful for your feedback and happy to know that despite these issues, you would consider returning. We look forward to hosting you again and will make sure to use your comments to improve our guest experience.
