Best location on the Island

This property was absolutely perfect for our family - we enjoyed all of the amenities and floorplan. Just a short walk to the beach too.

Lovely and close to the beach!!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Our host, Richard, was very attentive and answered all questions. It is a very short walk to the beach, and it is a lovely house.

Stone Harbor House retreat

Immaculate house

This property is wonderful! It is light and airy and has a retro feel and is close to the beach! The house was immaculate when we arrived and Richard, the owner, was very informative about everything. We hope to rent again next year.

Highly Recommend

We loved the house and felt very comfortable here. The size of the rooms and thoughtfulness in supplying everything needed was a pleasant surprise. Close to the beach too. Such a wonderful week was had by everyone. Weather was beautiful. Only one problem. The vacation ends too soon. Wish we could have stayed all summer.

2 weeks in our family’s happy place!!

Home is in a wonderful, quiet location with a very short walk to the beach. Very clean. Plenty of beach chairs and sand toys so less to pack. Nice large dining table so everyone can share meals and play games together. Large comfortable couch for movie nights as well. Screened in porch downstairs was a hotspot for morning coffee and we could see and hear the Wildwood fireworks in the distance from the front upstairs deck.

Home Away from Home

Located on the quiet south end of Seven Mile Island, a very short distance away from the bird sanctuary and Stone Harbor Point. This is a perfect family retreat. The home is spacious and well laid out. There is a sun porch, two upstairs decks off the bedrooms, plus a rear patio. The three full bathrooms are convenient. The owner and her family have enjoyed it for over four decades. They are very helpful and communicate promptly.

Life on the upstairs porch

The best part was the owner's attention to detail. We walked right in and there were no problems. Very accurate instructions, bikes ready to go in the garage, beach chairs available, barbecue functional. Just none of the usual things that delay the holiday experience. I will go back.

Wow!!! Great House ... Awesome Location

Thank you for letting us stay in your fantastic home! Your beach house is our favorite beach house thus far! My husband has been coming to Stone Harbor since his childhood & I’ve been 10 times. With 8 from our family nestled into your home we all felt like kings on a throne. The floor plan is perfect for our family, and we love the short walk to the beach. And of course all the great restaurants and shops just in reach. Your screened-in porch is perfect for crafts and reading the ‘Bobbsey Twins at the Seashore!’ to my little grandkids. We look forward to staying here again and again!

Relaxing Stone Harbor Cottage

Charming and clean 4-bedroom beach cottage, 1 1/2 blocks from the beach, located in the quiet south end of beautiful Stone Harbor. Family-owned since the 70's, we were met by the owner's son, who manages the property, and given a quick walk-through. This home has everything: full-size washer/dryer, kitchen supplies, propane grill, outside shower, several bikes and lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys, etc. (linens not provided). Also a plus: each bedroom has an adjoining full bathroom (the two bathrooms upstairs share a jack-and-jill bathroom). Great beach home with plenty of room for a relaxing family vacation!

The Strobel family LOVES Stone Harbor! It has been an important part of our lives for 53 years. We began as summer guests and then became owners.

Our vacation home at 214 118th Street is located in the quiet and upscale South End neighborhood of Stone Harbor, often referred to as the "Gold Coast", and the Strobel family has been successfully hosting guests here since 1981. Our vacation home is just 175 yards from the wide, scenic 118th Street Beach. You'll find all the amenities of home to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Most guests return year after year. Soon your family can enjoy great times and happy memories here!

Our vacation home offers a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and location in one of Stone Harbor's finest neighborhoods, all within the vibrant and welcoming island community of Stone Harbor. Plus, our vacation home provides all the amenities of home. With the exception of lines and towels, we supply everything else. This includes beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, skimboards, sports equipment, and beach toys. Uniquely, our vacation home offers 6 adult and children sized bicycles for your family to use on the island!

As one of the few properties on the island recognized by VRBO as a “PREMIER HOST,” we take pride in consistently delivering top-tier customer service, satisfaction, and exemplary business practices. We are always happy to provide references and additional photographs to you.

WE WARMLY WELCOME YOUR QUESTIONS BY EMAIL, TEXT OR PHONE. Many prospective guests appreciate the opportunity to talk to the owner and ask questions before booking, and we’re here to ensure you have all the information you need.

Our property manager, Richard Strobel—my wonderful son and a practicing attorney—handles day-to-day management and is available 24/7 both before and during your stay. Richard’s attention to detail and professionalism ensure that your vacation will be smooth and stress-free.

You have two convenient booking options: through the VRBO platform, or directly with the owner. Either option you choose is perfectly acceptable. All of our regular guests prefer to book directly, since it reduces their costs by around 25%. Most property owners aren't set up to offer this valuable feature. However, thanks to Richard’s legal and management expertise, we are pleased to extend this money-saving feature to you.
