Historic North End Camel's Back Hyde Out

In the coveted North End historic district in Hyde Park. This place is only two blocks from Camels Back park and hundreds of miles of hiking and mountain biking access trails. The house is very simple but if you appreciate quaint and rustic this is your place.

Quaint, Cozy, and Rustic. This home is one of the original gems in Historic North End. Built in the 1940s you will find it holds all its original charm along with some nice creature comforts including spacious back yard and patio with automatic party lights that go on and off in the evening. A nice place to come back and relax after a day exploring, cycling the trails, or wondering around the shops of the north end 13th street.

Charming, clean, convenient location.

We enjoyed our stay and always grateful for comfortable, convenient accommodations such as this one. All said…It is not new, but charming & clean (?) yes…Here are a few improvement possibilities: update main bedroom shades (one shade didn’t allow complete privacy at night), bathroom shower curtain needs more weight, it would fly into our bodies while showering and had to place large shampoo bottles on it to hold it down-in general the entire bathroom could use an update. The bed in the bedroom did not have a box- spring skirt cover, giving it a dingy vibe. Otherwise the bed was clean, warm and comfy and everything else in the house was great. I hope this honest review is helpful.

Quiet, quaint location in the coveted North Ballard/North Beach neighborhood. Neighbors are friendly with nice mixture of young and established residents. Nice Ocean Breezes during summer months and great peekaboo view of water and coastline. Short 6 block walk West to Golden Gardens Beach Park. 1 mile from downtown Ballard restaurants and sight-seeing.

2 full bedrooms with 1 full bath makes this place great for getting away and relaxing in private or gathering together in the cozy living room or spacious back patio after a day out seeing the sights. Also, walking distance to Camel's Back Park with hundreds of miles of Mountain Biking / Hiking Trails, North End Hyde Park Shops and restaurants, and just 30-minute drive to Bogus Basin summit.
