A short walk to the beach.

A cute and clean little home just a short walk to the beach. Has a small private pool my that my kids enjoyed. One of the things I liked most was the walking distance to the beach with a provided wagon, beach chairs, and a umbrella.

Such a great stay

Property management was amazing, communication was excellent and the property itself was absolutely beautiful. I can't say enough good things, we enjoyed it so much that we already have booked two more stays in the next 12 months.

Lizzie Lu Vrbo Holmes Beach

Vacationed here with our adult children and it was fantastic. Perfect weather every day with just a short walk to the beach. Enough in town to do if it wasn’t in the midst of navigating the COVID 19 pandemic. The accommodations were perfect and Ben kept us up to date through the rental process and the week of our stay. Would rent from them again in a heart beat!

Relaxing Beach Vacation

Everything was perfect, easy to find, quick check in with door code lock box, clean and ready to go, just bring your clothes and food to cook. They even provided beach chairs, wagon, umbrella and holder sand screw, towels, kids toys, etc. for quick walk to beach so we could swim or just relax and watch the sunsets. Then head back to house, shower in our private outdoor shower to go swimming. Great time... ISLAND TIME. Thank you!!

Compact but very well done

While the square footage and backyard/pool area is fairly small, our family of five did well here. The layout is good and versatile, the decor and amenities are very good and the convenient location makes beach and other activities easy to reach. For 2-3 people and the occasional guests it would be really fantastic, though the pool and backyard are pretty small for more than 2 people. The eating table on the back porch is great for 6 (not covered though if raining). All in all a very good experience.

Perfection. Exactly as shown in pictures

We loved the private pool! The garage was a great mud room / laundry room. Great beach items and the wagon was clutch. Super friendly staff. Tye the landscaping guy and all around handy man is a gem. He gave us the downlow on the properties. The landscaping is absolutely lush and well maintained. Love love this property.

Clean, comfortable and full of Amenities.

Great property just minutes away from the beach. Property was super clean and came with all of the amenities you could possibly need. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes. The grill was very convenient and saved us a lot of money. Pool was small but provided the entertainment needed for a 10 and 12 year old. Outdoor shower was spectacular. Just perfect to clean off after being on the beach all day. The washer and dryer were very useful. We left with suitcases full of clean clothes. Best of all anything and everything you could possibly need for the beach is right there in the garage. I mean they even provided beach towels and tons of floaties. I think that for everything you get the rental price was more than reasonable. Lizzie Lu's Island Retreat is truly exceptional. Will definitely rent from them again. Oh and Anna Maria Island is an absolute delight. It was so beautiful and peaceful. I loved loved that it was never crowded. It almost felt exclusive.

Clean, very updated and very convenient to beach

Just repainted before we showed up. Everything updated and in great shape. Management was very responsive and unobtrusive. The pool was nice and the welcome basket was a nice touch.

Private and beautiful!

I loved this rental! I will definitely go back as soon as I decide on when my vacation will be next year. It had absolutely everything you need for a great vacation and it was very clean. The manager was very nice and helpful. Thanks, Ben!

Loggerhead

We enjoyed our time at the Loggerhead Beach House. Some items of note for future might be to provide better upgraded TV channels plus the TV itself was of poor quality. There were little things like the soap dispensers were not refreshed when we arrived, nothing to clean counter tops was found just wipes. Two upright chairs could be provided with backs just outside doors as outer furniture, apart from chaise loungers, not comfortable at all and not easy to move when rain came. We found the pool to be a little chilly so swimming in it was limited. Mostly it was great but just those little items would make it much easier. It also should be noted in write=ups that the garage is very small. We have stayed in several places in Holmes Beach and value for money this was not the greatest.

Fantastic location and property

What a fantastic property. A block from the beach, modern kitchen and bathrooms, relaxing pool and wonderful landscaping. Perfect amount of space for our family of 4. Comfy beds, games, movies, beach gear etc. Really was awesome. Property and island exceeded our expectations. What a pleasure.

Great property and excellent city. The amenities were clean and functional. Could have used a smaller pool skimmer to clean the pool, but it rained most of our trip so we really did not use the pool. We would recommend this property to others.

Just perfect!!! Can't wait to come back!

Lizzie Lu's Loggerhead beach house was just perfect for our visit. We enjoyed a fantastic time in AMI and the house was just wonderful. Enjoyed the pool, the proximity to the beach and all the beachgear provided with the house... Great decor and comfort at the house and excellent (and above) customer service by Ben. Highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Place, Great Management

Lizzie Lu's Loggerhead beach house was just perfect for our family. This was our 11 month old's first vacation and it was everything we had hoped for! The house had everything we needed to be able to cook at home, and it was very clean. Great location too! We were a 2 min walk to the beach which was perfect for going back and forth with the baby. Loved the wagon, umbrella, and cooler provided for the beach. Ben went above and beyond with all of our requests. Already looking forward to our next stay! :-)

Beautiful, Quiet and Modern

Beautiful small bungalow close to the beach (quick walk, no major roads to cross). The house, while a duplex, is incredibly private (concrete walls between the units, entrances on opposite sides of the buildings, and high fences with lush palm trees to separate the backyards) and beautifully renovated with high-end finishes, furniture and equipment. No cabinet full of scratched old pans here - everything was in great condition and carefully curated to provide exactly what you need on vacation (every time we said "I wonder if there's a ___________ here," there it was). We had concerns about it being on a busy road, but there is a private sidewalk to the road that leads to the beach, and Gulf drive turned out to not actually be very busy (at least in October, when we were there). The mattresses and linens were of surprisingly high quality. In addition to the fantastic physical condition of the place, the owner/manager is great - pleasant to deal with and extremely responsive to any requests. A problem with the internet service was handled quickly, professionally and graciously. We plan to rent from them again in the future.

Fresh & Clean

The property is newly refurbished and it definitely shows. Floors, appliances, and furnishings were all very clean and comfortable. Landlord/owners were very responsive and accommodating for us regarding traveling with a 7 month old child (pack and play, monitor, beach stroller, etc.) House is also outfitted with pool alarm so we felt quite safe. Close proximity to beach (less than 4 minute walk) and garage is stocked with beach cart and other sundries. Pool was clean and landscaping provided beautiful shade/sun mixture in the pool area for lounge time when the beach became too hot. Plenty of beach and pool towels provided. Washer and dryer was used every day! Not a single thing missing from this home away from home.....we would love to stay for a month or more. Also, Lizzie Lu's provided an app a few weeks in advance to help us prepare: GPS directions to the driveway, a packing list, local restaurant and activity listings, a reminder to take out the trash, etc. The app made us feel like we had all the answers at our finger tips at all times. Highly highly recommend not only this home, but any of Lizzie Lu's Island Retreat homes!
