We appreciate you highlighting the location and architectural design of the home, and we would like to clarify a few points while also acknowledging the inconveniences you experienced. All major appliances in the home were operational during the stay. Prior to this visit, no guests had reported any issues with the oven. During the stay, the oven concern was addressed on-site and demonstrated to be working properly, which was confirmed at the time, and documentation was also provided to VRBO. Nevertheless, since this issue continued to cause frustration, we proactively replaced the oven with a brand-new unit shortly thereafter. All other appliances functioned correctly. Regarding the lighting, no previous guests had reported flickering lights in the kitchen. Initially, the issue was not specified. Once a video was provided, an electrician was dispatched immediately and resolved the matter. Only two kitchen lights were affected, not the full lighting system of the home. Concerning arrival, the property manager experienced an unexpected delay, which we apologized for at the time. We understand this was frustrating and regret the inconvenience. We are sorry to hear about the housekeeping concerns. This is not representative of our usual standards and has been addressed internally to ensure greater consistency going forward. With respect to water-related issues, we were never notified of any such concern during the stay. Additionally, neither the guests prior to this visit nor the guests currently staying at the property have reported any water issues. House instructions clearly state that kitchen cupboards must remain closed overnight, and this was also verbally explained upon arrival. When closed, the cupboards cannot be accessed by animals, regardless of food storage. As a gesture of goodwill for the inconveniences experienced, a full one-day refund was provided. We take guest feedback seriously and have already implemented improvements to ensure an even better experience for future guests.
