Our family had a wonderful vacation at this amazing and authentic property. The host was attentive and kind, the staff was helpful from the start. The home is gorgeous and fun. We especially loved the third pool on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Views, sunsets, service, food, all amazing.

The photos don't do this place any justice! It was better than expected. We had the most wonderful time! Excellent location nestled in the middle of the jungle. The communication with Agnes was also great. We have stayed at many houses with staff, but this was by far the best staff we've had. The chef was top-notch! They prepared the most delicious meals daily and spoiled all of us! We will definitely be back!

Another great visit to Casa Cordoba

This is our third visit to the property. Communication with the owner has always been easy. The property is always well maintained and the staff interaction always simple. I will see y’all in 2 years!

Ixtapa 2025

This was our 3rd time staying at this location. We went with family and extended family. We had a group of 9 this year. We go every 2 yrs and plan to continue this. The property is beautiful and has everything you need. The hosts and staff are wonderful and will take good care of you. They even have someone who comes and offers assistance with rides and excursions (Manuel is amazing) The owner of the property communicates well and helps with any questions. February is definitely the month to go! Bring bug spray or you can buy it there but I recommend having it.

Wonderful

We were a group of friends vacationing. The house was beautiful, we utilized all six bedrooms. They were spacious and private. The rest of the house was beautiful, there was no detail that wasn’t well thought out. There are a lot of private areas to read or take a nap without direct sunlight. The pool was beautiful. The best part of a wonderful house was the staff. Homero was our chef, groceries, and anything else we needed. Lute and Rosita served our food, cleaned our rooms, served us snacks. They were constantly working around the house or taking care of us. Luis was our pool boy and did a wonderful job always with a smile. We did go out for dinner two nights out of 10, but decided we would rather stay at the house and enjoy Homero’s delicious cooking. Every one of his meals was delicious. I can’t say enough good things about our experience, I highly recommend enjoying the beautiful home and wonderful staff.

Spectacular!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this spectacular property in Ixtapa! Our group was 10 adults and we were treated to a phenomenal view every morning, top end food, sunshine, service that was second to none, daily walks on the beach and many unforgettable moments! The property itself was very unique. The pictures don't quite do it justice as it's built into the side of a cliff overlooking the ocean and Ixtapa bay and beach. The sunsets were spectacular everyday. Each of the rooms had king size beds and their own bathroom/shower. Some had additional sitting, lounging spaces with a gorgeous view of the bay. The common area is an open area with a pool, sundeck, covered lounge area, living room type area, dining room and bar area with many cute corners and spaces to lay in the sun or shade to read, meditate, stretch... While this common area had the main pool that we spent most of our days in and out of regularly, there are two other smaller pools on lower levels which provided a nice change during different parts of the day. Each room was immaculate and the staff seamlessly cleaned and made up each room while we were at breakfast everyday. It's very hard to describe how amazing Tello, Juanita and his staff were from every aspect. They were all fantastic and Tello was able to accommodate our every need. The food was unique and every meal delicious. I have no more room for comments but can't thank Tello enough for making this one of the most memorable vacations we've ever had!

Until next year!

This was our second visit to Casa del Sol but the first time for all of our friends and our group can hardly wait to return again next year. Of course the property itself is spectacular but the hospitality of Agnes, Tello, Juanita, Lupe and Luis is second to none! And a shout out to Manuel and his transportation team who provided timely and friendly rides to and from the airport and on all of our excursions. Casa del Sol is not to be missed if you are looking for the vacation of a lifetime for you and your family and friends. Thank you!

Yearly paradise tradition

This is our third year in a row staying at this beautiful home. We have already booked for 2025. The setting and ocean views are unmatched. This year we saw humpback whales everyday! Tello, Juanita, Lupe and Louis take first class care of us; cooking fabulous meals, twice daily room turndowns and so fun. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Ixtapa Escape

We were a group of 8 adults and could not have felt more welcome, comfortable, and well fed. The property is one of the most beautiful we have encountered in our travels and each room is unique, and located at different levels, ensuring everyone had privacy. The communal space and pools were spotless and the views of the bay made it hard to want to leave. Tello and Juanita created a casual yet luxurious living and dining experience and anticipated our every need. We took a tour of Mexican cuisine with Tello’s cooking, and he was able to accommodate all preferences and allergies graciously and deliciously. He even let us act as sous chef in the kitchen. Watching the master in action and chatting with Juanita was so much fun, it is truly your house for the duration of the stay. Manuel was a fantastic driver and guide, and has many local connections, making planning trips exciting and fun. We highly recommend snorkeling in Manzanillo and the senses and savours tour of the Zihuatanejo markets. I felt so lucky to find this absolute gem of a villa, and we plan to return as often as we can. P.S. Bring some bug spray :)

Family reunion with adulting children!

Fabulous visit! The home is truly a dream and the staff very accommodating. Loved all the beautiful nooks and crannies…there’s beauty around every corner although some areas need a bit of a refresh because it is truly luxurious so the shabbiness stuck out! Only “issue” was the unseasonably hot weather in the mid 90’s all week and we would have loved if the bathrooms attached to each bedroom were also air conditioned. It was impossible to shower and use a mirror. Silly “problem” but we didn’t want to stay in the pool all week! Resort property location felt safe and secure and we enjoyed the funicular to the beach almost every day. Last detail to mention…we truly appreciated that we had a driver/excursion rep at our disposal! Already looking at dates to rebook.

Just Paradise

This is our second time staying at the property. It was just as good as the first time. The on site staff couldn’t be better or more accommodating. Anything you want is available and anything you want to do to offsite is handled. The food prepared by Teo and his family is the best on the island. Be prepared to eat! Anges checks in to see if your stay is as good as it can be and is very warm and welcoming. You won’t find a better place to stay! Steve

Two Stays in Two Years - AMAZING!

We stayed here in 2021 and just got back from another stay in May 2023. We can't say enough good things about both stays! From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by the entire staff at the top of the villa. Your stay begins with these simple words from Tallo: "Welcome to your home." Agnes is always accessible and helps through the entire process. Tallo and his family are simply the best customer service you will ever experience. Tallo's cooking... unbelievably perfect. Even Manuel, who works with Agnes and Tallo, to take care of transportation and tours, is caring and so helpful. We will continue to return over and over again.

Awesome!

This property has everything you could possibly want! It is beautiful, well-managed, and comfortable…as well as extremely luxurious. However, the very best part is the staff. The owner is very responsive to any inquiry or message. Tello and Juanita are wonderful hosts and take care of their guests better than I can describe. Tello’s cooking is totally amazing. A beautiful getaway!

This is our third experience as a group of 6 friends and it did not disappoint. The house and setting are one of a kind. The staff of Tello, Juanita and Lupicia took excellent care of us. They provided first class food, service and support throughout our stay. We plan to make this our annual destination to escape the snow and cold!

Even better than expected!

I can't say enough good things about the villa and staff! Tello, Lupita, and Juanita were fabulous hosts. All of the bedrooms are spaced out in a way that provides plenty of privacy and comfortable places to get away and relax away from your larger group. It was easy to access the beach and amenities at Pacifica resort, via the gondola. We also appreciated that the home owner Agnes, took the time to call and check in early in our stay. We cannot wait to visit again!

Top Notch Experience!

This is truly a five star vacation experience. Upon arrival in Ixtapa, we were picked up at the airport by a private driver, Manuel. From there, Tello and team were super responsive to our meal requests and everything they made was INCREDIBLE (they prepare three meals a day; spaghetti bolognese and chili rellenos were our favorites). It was my birthday celebration with friends so they even made a special birthday dessert one night. Every evening there was a turndown service in our rooms and every morning the place had been cleaned with fresh coffee waiting. The property itself is at the very top of a resort, so we felt safe the entire time. You can take the funicular down to the beach, which we did for a couple hours one day, but honestly we just never wanted to leave the property. I already have friends who came with us that are looking to book their next stay with other friends or family. Look no further if you are looking for a relaxing, effortless, five star experience.

Stunning and Wonderful

This place takes the cake, incredible views, absolutely the best food and charming staff! I would come here over and over and recommend it to anyone! Tello made a wonderful cake for my 50th birthday and the host Agnes generously have me a beautiful hammock! Can't wait to come back and here the sounds of the jungle again!

Five Stars All Around

We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Sol. Tello, Juanita and Manuel were so helpful. The food was great & we got everything we asked for. Rooms were well supplied and clean. We enjoyed boat rental, atv tour & snorkel trip. The view is breathtaking. All of us girls may have had tears when we first saw it. Looking forward to returning for sure. We're even considering buying a place in Ixtapa. Can't say enough about it. Love the people, culture, mountains & beaches!
