Communication was flawless. The property was lovely with access to the bay side, pool, AND beach side. We have visited Manasota Key for several years and this is, by far, our favorite property. We hope to stay here from now on!

Our stay was a girl's get away and we thoroughly enjoyed the condo and bay view. Highly recommend! The location was perfect and the view from the lanai provided us with dolphins, birds, iquana and ambiance with our morning coffee. During our stay we saw a gopher tortoise outside the grounds. We started and ended our days on the lanai. The walk to the beach was short and convenient. The proximity to local restaurants was convenient also. The beach essentials-chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels was an added plus. The pool was down due to a storm the night before we arrived, but it appeared clean and the deck area was roomy. We used the grill which also was clean and maintained. Our host communicated timely and was very helpful :). We very much enjoyed our reprieve and would return! We love Manasota Key and are regular visitors to the island.

Everything went very smoothly. Any questions were quickly answered by Mary Kay. A clean apartment with a lovely view. Dining at the balcony table was a great plus. The pool was just below and the Gulf beach an easy stroll across the street. A convenient parking space goes with the condo.

We have stayed at this place in the past and the location, description of the property and the amenities are exactly as they are listed. Communication on the property could be slightly better, I feel like we were pulling teeth getting information out of the renter which may have never been an issue if the check in and check out instructions were a little clearer up front. The renter was good at responding, but I feel like we had to ask basic questions that could have been cleared up with more clear instructions up front. All the information inside the unit for guests is way out of date, so check out instructions inside the binder could have helped with the checkout process as well. Instead, we kind of guessed and we got check out instructions 30 minutes before we were to be checked out.Upon arrival this time, we found that the rental unit not very clean. There was trash and food smeared on bed linens as well as counter tops and tables not clean. My wife came down a day later and brought our own linens that we used in the kids room. The door to the shower had been knocked off the track in the master en suite bathroom and we had to fix that to use it. The air filter for the unit is visible to renters and is completely caked over and dark brown and needs to be changed immediately. Overall you cannot beat the location and the amenities! We were just a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the unit and the communication. We will be back to Sunburst Condos.

The bay side room overlooked the bay and the pool area, sunrises were beautiful and the screened in lanai with the ceiling fan was very cozy for breakfast. There were nice beach chairs and an umbrella provided along with some shark tooth finding Equipment. Lots of beach towels and linens, beds were nice and clean and comfortable, we cooked a lot in the kitchen, which is well stocked with every utensil you might need. Two different kinds of coffee makers and a spacious fridge gave us everything we needed. I also use the provided gas grill out by the pool, which was very handy. Unfortunately I didn’t have a fishing pole, but the dock on the bay was providing other guest with some nice size fish and a good place to hang out. It’s a short walk across the main road to a great beach that we visited every day and found tons of shark teeth and shells right there. We also utilize the laundry room, the machines were kept very clean and they were very efficient and new. We had a great stay.

A Perfect Bayfront Getaway with All the Comforts of Home

Our recent stay at this condo was nothing short of spectacular, providing everything we needed for a truly perfect vacation. While not explicitly mentioned in the listing, the screened-in balcony was an absolute highlight, offering a serene spot to enjoy our coffee each morning, unwind in the evenings, and even marvel at incredible lightning storms over the bay late at night. The condo's bay access, private community pool and private beach access were incredibly convenient, allowing us to easily enjoy the white sand beaches and hunt for seashells galore. We especially appreciated that all beach equipment was provided, making our quick walk to the beach effortless. We saw so much wildlife from birds, to armadillos, to live conch and got to watch sea turtles lay eggs on the beach! Inside, the condo was incredibly comfortable, especially the comfortable beds which ensured restful nights. We loved having the option to cook at home in the well-equipped kitchen and propane grill, though we also took advantage of the great local restaurants nearby. The availability of a local shuttle service was an added bonus, making it easy to explore the area. Finally, our experience was made even better by the lovely host, whose excellent communication ensured a smooth and enjoyable stay from start to finish. We highly recommend this condo for anyone seeking a relaxing and fully equipped vacation retreat! Manasota is our favorite yearly vacation spot, and we will book with Mary Kay again!
