Clean ,well equipped,great proximity to the beach. Great grocery store and deli nearby. Carpenters vegetable stand is fabulous. We will definitely return.

Beach Vacation

Amazing home very close to the beach. Newly renovated with air conditioning in a GREAT location. This was our 5th year there and are looking forward to next year.

Really comfortable home in a great neighborhood.

We enjoyed this house very much. The new owners have done a great job updating this rental property into a home. I would suggest updating the pictures of the bedrooms and list what type of bed each room contains. One last upgrade that we would like to see is a bigger bed or put two beds back in the large bedroom. The trundle bed downstairs comes in handy also, maybe move it to the other side of the room.

Excellent stay in Matunuck

This is our 6th year renting in Matunuck and our 4th different property (previously stayed in same one for 3 years in a row). The property is in an excellent location with a very short walk (less than 10 minutes there and back) to Carpenter's Farmstand, a few more minutes to Vanilla Bean and Seaview Market. Also, an easy walk to Ocean Mist. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Ample parking in the driveway with a very large backyard that is great for kids. 4 separate bedrooms, one of which has a futon for additional space. There is also room to sleep in the downstairs TV room. Space to gather upstairs and downstairs is helpful for families that want space for kids to spread out. This house provides linens and a lot of towels (not all Matunuck rentals do). Also, the beach cart in the garage was very helpful. Walking distance to Matunuck town beach, and a short drive to East Matunuck and Scarborough (our preferred) state beaches. The host was very responsive and helpful. Overall, an excellent stay and would be happy to stay again.
