Amanda was an excellent host that took care of everything super quickly when something came up. Location is wonderful and close to grocery stores and dining. A few things need updating but we had a great stay. Beds are extremely comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool and fishing off the dock. We loved talking walks around the area.

Summer 2024

Super convenient location for our activities. Our family enjoys a slower paced HI vacation visiting family and our usual hot spots. This home has plenty of space and loved sitting outside each day watching the water and drinking our coffee. The home is older, but very comfortable and clean. Thanks to to super responsive hosts who were always quick to reply!!!

The Perfect Family Vacation

Wonderfully appointed family home with very comfortable rooms, well-stocked kitchen, tastefully furnished and very clean!! We were delighted with every aspect of this property - the pool was so fun to lounge around in for hours, we did yoga on the top deck and also on the boat landing. The neighborhood is nice & quiet, very safe. I used to visit my Aunty who lived in on the marina right next to this home so I was very familiar with the area. Short distance from Sandys, shopping at Kahala Mall, KCC Farmers Market, Ala Moana, Waikiki, and even Lanikai (go during the week days). The best part is Foodland, Safeway and Costco are only a couple mins away. And you can easily take a walk each morning to the beach to see the sunrises. We will definitely be back. Our hosts were incredibly attentive, responsive and kind. 10/10!!!

A Garden Spot in Paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental turned out to be the perfect location for a large family. The warm pool on the property was perfect. The house rules were very reasonable, and clearly written out. There are two master bedrooms with their own bathrooms and they both had A/C. The rest of the house had numerous fans to circulate the air, but even during consistent 85 degree days in Honolulu, the heat was always tolerable. The location was centrally located and only 30 minutes from the airport, and very close to Hanama Bay. Plus, it was within easy walking distance of an excellent shopping center. This would be our FIRST choice of lodging in or around Honolulu, and it made our Hawaiian vacation perfect!

The pool was such an added bonus. We had 10 people staying- grandmother- mom- dad- aunt- 6 adult children 19-33 yrs old. Loved it so much have recommended it to others. House looks just like pictures. Rental process easy. No hidden expenses. Not one complaint from any of our 10 guest. Local food store less then 2 miles away. Perfect.

Big 50 Celebration

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This year my wife turned 50 and her parents had their 50th anniversary. We rented the Marina Front home for two weeks with the extended family and have an excellent time. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, on a bay with it's own dock. We enjoyed morning coffee on the patio each day with the sun shining on the hills to the right and then enjoyed the sunset each night out over the bay. The home is comfortable, clean and located well with multiple chopping center close by and Hanauma Bay 10 minutes away. It's close enough to Waikiki and Honolulu to enjoy their beaches, restaurants and shops, but residential enough that we always had a nice place to retreat to and relax in peace.

Mediocrity

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is definitely a new rental...many things were lacking in the kitchen. There is no vent, so the smoke alarm goes off every time you cook. The sink faucet is fixed and sprays you instead of the dishes. There's no wine opener, and there are no staples at all in the pantry. Think, salt, pepper, oil, napkins, etc. there weren't extra trash bags for the kitchen either. For the rest of the house, it's also pretty sparse. There are no towel hooks in the fifth bedroom (by the front door). The floor is sloped, so watch out that you don't trip. There is only ac in two of the rooms. The pool is too cold to use, and it can't be heated.Overall, this place was livable, but not somewhere I'd return to or recommend. We were getting so desperate to find a place (what is with the advertised 1-night minimum, only to be told the places have a 5 or 10 night minimum in reality?!) that we booked this place. We even paid a fifth (empty) night though we only needed four.

We needed a large place to stay that would accommodate all of us and provide a place to gather and visit. This property was immaculate and well appointed with everything we needed. From cooking meals together in the large kitchen to enjoying dips in the pool or just relaxing on the patio and watching the sunset, it was great. We are hoping to come back again soon and stay at this fabulous property.

Amazing!

Thanks for an amazing stay! Every part of the process, from reservation to checkout, was seamless and pleasant. Thank you to Amanda and Sandy for the small touches like the fresh pineapple, coffee, and chocolate covered macadamia nuts upon check in. We will definitely stay here again upon our return.

Felt like home in Hawaii

We had a wonderful comfortable stay at the property in Hawaii Kai. The place was very clean, we had everything we needed, and there was room for two families with 2 kids each plus two grandparents. The entire property was air conditioned which was a great refuge from the heat. The neighborhood was quiet as well. The highlight of the property is the amazing pool. We all loved swimming in the pool either at the beginning of the day or at the end. It was great to be able to relax and unwind. The location was awesome as well. It was close to beautiful beaches like Sandy Beach and Kailua beach. It was also close to hidden gems like China Walls and Spitting caves. Its proximity to nearby Safeway (open 24 hours) and Costco was super helpful as well. Both were around a 5 minute drive away. Don’t forget the Leonard’s Malasadas food truck nearby as well (which became an instant favorite). Overall we loved staying at the home and would gladly stay there again in the future. Special thanks to Amanda for looking after us during our stay.

I knew your cancelation policy, and cried multiple times. They(my husbands brother) are going to still get married there next year. Unfortunately, that was a very large loss for us. It looked so lovely, my newly widowed mom was going to join us as well. Heartbroken. Covid is so terrible.Wouldn't even let us be with our dad in his last days.I will give ratings on how it looked to us. Be well. God bless.

Great Stay at the Marina

The outside area was also great; plenty of sunny and shaded areas to relax. The property manager was awesome and very responsive. The kitchen had most everything you need. When we arrived a neighbor was going through the garbage cans; kind of weird.We had planned to rent paddle boards and go out from the marina; decided not to because the water was murky. For sure a quite neighborhood and neighbors will call if you are too loud. So move inside after 10pm or they will call and wake the property manager.I would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My entire family of 9 stayed here and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect and the house had everything we needed. We all agreed the beds were very comfortable and thought the decor was nicely done. We all also loved that each room had air conditioning...not very common on the islands. The only down side was the couch was not that comfortable, but it worked and the floors were not clean; we all had black feet from walking around. We would go back again though.
