Unique Historic Loft downtown Johnson City

Welcome to the "Heir Capone Speakeasy"! This loft was specifically designed for guests who want a UNIQUE experience in the heart of historic downtown Johnson City and walking distance to just about everything! Our space is inspired by the speakeasies from the 1920s and the early 1930s. The loft is a one-of-a-kind, fun, comfortable and luxurious space. Located on the second floor of a historic 1925 red brick building, this is a special find.

The loft has a main living area with exposed brick walls, custom lighting, bronze tin ceilings and a large living space with a dining banquet that seats eight and an extra large built in leather sofa for lounging. It has a gourmet kitchen with an oversized island that can seat six. Our loft includes a large poker table and music provided by a gramophone. Put on some of our classic Sinatra albums and enjoy the vibe!

The primary bedroom (Located behind a secret door) has a King sized bed. There is a large en-suite bathroom for it.
The second bedroom has a Queen sized bed (Located in the front of the loft.)
We have a Queen sleeper sofa (Located in the front of the second living space.)
One full bathroom (for the Queen bedroom and the sleeper sofa guests.)
An additional full kitchen ( Located in the front part of the loft)

Amenities include an iron and ironing board, hairdryer in each bathroom, WIFI and cleaning supplies. Coffee , tea, cooking oils and spices in the kitchen. Each bedroom and the main living room has a Smart TV with access to streaming service options (However, please sign into your personal accounts to access). All bedrooms and bathrooms are equipped with plush bedding, sheets, towels, and linens (all professionally laundered) We use free and clear products for all these items.

The loft is equipped with a washer/dryer room for any laundry needs while you are in town. There is limited free parking across from the loft but behind the loft there is free 24 hour parking in the Southern Craft lot. Street parking is free when available . There is a 10 minute loading zone in front of the building to unload your luggage and bring it inside before parking.

We are on the second floor of the building. There is a single flight of steps to the space. Guests have full and private access to the entire loft.

The neighborhood is home to some of the most popular restaurants , shops, bars etc.
We are located only a few minutes from ETSU.

This was the most amazing place we’ve rented through VRBO. We were in awe of how cool the decor was. We actually wanted to just stay inside and not go anywhere! It had everything we needed, and the beds were so comfortable. I hope I have another reason to visit Johnson city again, we LOVED this place!

This place is like a museum! Fabulous decor! Pictures don't do it justice and it's more spacious than you'd think. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. It is also well stocked on basic needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!!!

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this very unique historic loft in downtown Johnson City. It was in a great location and had the speakeasy feel which was really neat. The owner David was great about communicating with us and the place was very well kept and organized. We’ll hopefully be back in the future!

Amazing Speak Easy

This listing is spot on, best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Truly an amazing place we will be back as often as it’s available. The decor nailed a speak easy from the 20’s, 30’s era. The location is wonderful, walking distance of numerous restaurants and bars. We had a fantastic stay, highly recommend.

Nascar Race

Property was great. Surrounded by plenty restaurants and bars. Parking can be an issue as it gets very busy. Only 20 from Bristol raceway, great drive and location. Downtown Johnson City is very hipster. Was not really my scene, but good to experience.
