Located in Black Bear Falls in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, this 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom log cabin in the Smokies features space to sleep up to 10 guests. It's the right size for a family vacation or a weekend with friends – or for a small couples' retreat! This classic mountain retreat offers cozy interiors, modern conveniences, upgraded finishes, entertaining extras, and plenty of relaxing spaces.

Keep your group entertained in the rec room, which has a mounted flatscreen TV, a pool table, a fun teepee for kids, a comfy sofa, and direct access to the deck where the soothing hot tub is located. There are 2 sprawling decks outside, with plenty of seating where guests can unwind - and a charcoal, picnic-style grill.

Back inside, find Wi-Fi, a gas fireplace, TVs in the bedrooms, king-size beds, and 2 sleeper sofas. Plus, you'll have community pool access, a garden tub for relaxing baths, and keyless entry, so you don't have to stop by an office for check-in and checkout!

First experience with log cabin

Space wise , house was perfect. We all enjoyed hot tub bath. House location was also good, it has nice view. Nice place to live in mountain.

We came to Gatlinburg for my twin daughters’ birthday. They live several miles apart (12 hours ) and don’t get to spend enough time together- my son and his wife and 2 yr old daughter, the twins’ 2 and 4 year old children(1 each) and guys, and myself all got to spend a glorious weekend together. The cabin was perfect for eating together, cousins running wild together, relaxing in the hot tub, Then had our own space for sleeping. We definitely want to come here again!

Nice stay

The cabin was cozy, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature. It was exactly what we needed to relax.The cabin was spotless upon arrival, and the attention to detail in its upkeep really made the stay feel luxurious.The cabin was well-equipped and had stunning views. It felt like a home away from home.

Big disappointment

The property had no curtains on the windows in the living room. This had a sofa bed that my granddaughter was going to sleep. She was uncomfortable, she ended up sleeping on the floor in her mom’s bedroom. I called about curtains but didn’t get a response about them. We had issues with the volume on the living room tv. We had 3 remotes but no information on how to use them. Someone did come and put the sound on while we weren’t there. Next day no sound again. Again a disappointment. The listing should also indicate no ice maker so you know to buy ice before you come. No broom in which to sweep the floors, I had to go buy one. I would not recommend this property. We visit Gatlinburg several twice a year. Never had issues ,usually very pleased with our rental.

Fall getaway with family

We had a great stay at The Songbird. The location was good and comfortable for us to enjoy thoroughly. We got some bear sightings. None was hostile in any way. The outdoor deck lighting could have been better. Thankfully we had our our lantern and flashlights. We got afew close bear sightings. The cottage itself isn’t really bear proof so you need to be watchful of your surroundings at all times when ever u r outside. Specially when u are in the hot tub which is on the ground floor. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths along with 2 queen pullout couches was sufficient for us all. Wifi is good. The BBQ runs on a constant supply of Natural gas so no risk of it running out of propane. The cabin fireplace was really nice too. We used it one night but we couldn’t figure out where the exhaust was so decided to not use it for too long bc we didn’t want to risk a CO poisoning incident. the cabin also has a regular furnace and AC as well. The pool table and other board games were good for us to connect with family members of all ages. Views of the Smokey Mountains were fabulous. Remember to bring your flashlights.
