Hello Kristina and thanks for taking the time to post a review. Sorry that there wasn't a soup ladle and it was unfortunate that you didn't let us know as we could have popped one over to you. As you know we maintain an on-mountain 24 hour service to ensure that our guests have a wonderful stay. In our check in info, we do ask to let us know if anything is wrong, so that we can remedy for you rather than hearing about it for the first time in a review. This condo is one that we get rave reviews on primarily because of the great location - ski in ski out to the door and then guests can keep their skis/boards in the closet rather than having to put in a ski locker on a different floor. This is a favourite condo for dog owners as well because it is easy to just walk out the door to take the dog for a walk, without any stairs. Regarding your comments about the size of the kitchen and the sparseness of the master bedroom, I'm not sure how to respond. This is a condo (700 square feet) and not a stand alone home. The condo has all new furniture - including a new bed and mattress. The master bedroom has a double mirrored closet with racks for hanging clothes or putting them on the built in shelves. It has two night tables and two lamps. You are quite right that you can't open the oven and the dishwasher at the same time, but Im not sure why you would need to? We lived full time in this condo for a number of years and loved that it was fully equipped with everything and a quick 5 minute walk to the village. No car required. As to the colour of the washroom, we have never had a complaint before, but for sure understand that not everyone likes the same colours. I'm just not sure if you understood that a review is not intended as a "complaint form". The only area you didn't feel was lacking was the bunkroom as per your comment "Received no complaints from the kids regarding their room, and I spent no time there myself, so I have no opinion." We hope you enjoyed your holiday in spite of your review. At Silver Star Stays we do look after over 70 properties ranging from affordable studios to deluxe 7 bedroom homes If you do wish to return, we would recommend that for your needs, you may want to consider a pet friendly 3 bedroom townhome or vacation house that is more along the size that you prefer. Hello Carol. Thanks for staying with us. I'm glad you enjoyed the "comfortable 10 degrees cooler" at Silver Star. The summer tubing is also great fun for the kids. I'm sorry that you did not locate the "working" hot tub which is located in the WildWood building. During the summer months one hot tub is open within the Creekside condo. We advised the building and provided the code to access it, but you sadly may have overlooked that it was in the next building and not the one you were in. During the winter each condo building has the hot tub working, but in the hotter and less busy months only ONE hottub is in your use at Creekside and all Creekside guests have use of it. I'm sorry you didn't send me a message prior to your departure and we could easily have clarified this situation for you and you would have been able to enjoy the hot tub. I'm sorry to hear about the towel situation and we have contacted our housekeeping department about this. We usually get 10/10 reviews on housekeeping and I'm sorry this was not your experience and I extend our apologies for this.
