Welcome to The Retreat!

We invite you to stay at our cozy guest home tucked in the woods of Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
Just 6 minutes from Furman University, 20 minutes from Bob Jones University and North Greenville University, minutes from Downtown Travelers Rest and the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Enjoy hiking, biking, and many outdoor activities.
Chase beautiful sunsets, explore natural beauty at nearby Paris Mountain State Park and access many others state parks close by.

Adventure awaits!

We have designed your stay to be restful and restorative. With plush, comfortable bedding, cozy design, quiet surroundings and a very clean home, we are sure you’ll find peace and rest.

The Retreat offers a large living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully stocked laundry room, and a fully equipped kitchen. We’ve also included a beverage station, complete with a 12 cup coffee pot, a Keurig coffee maker with assorted k-cups and tea for your enjoyment.

The Retreat sits on one acre for you to explore.
Enjoy the delightful covered porch or hang a hammock in the trees!

Stay connected with high speed internet and a 43" Smart TV - perfect for working, streaming, or using multiple devices. The network reaches download speeds of up to 1GB with upload speeds averaging 50Mbps.

Or unplug with a curated collection of slowed down activities including games, books, puzzles and more.

Peaceful place to land during busy times

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this peaceful setting. We had a busy weekend of celebrating with family, but this location gave us a place to land in between activities to rest and gear up for the next round. We appreciated how clean and comfortable the hosts made our stay feel. Would definitely recommend this retreat to anyone coming to the Greenville area and we hope to be back!

Grad weekend home base

Great to stay with our all our kids in one location where my youngest graduation from college. It was a very pleasant location and warm place to stay and we really enjoyed it. We would come back again without question as this placement all our needs. Only room for change would be to request that the preprogram thermostat temperature be turned off while we are there as it is hard to keep comfortable temperature when it continues to go back to the program.

We had an excellent stay at The Retreat in the Woods! The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. It was peaceful and secluded while still being just a short drive from downtown Travelers Rest and nearby attractions. The bed was comfortable, the amenities were great, and the property was well maintained. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The property was very clean and cozy. We were able to get everything we needed to stock the house from a grocery store nearby, which was convenient. We did have an issue with the A/C, but the host was very responsive and helped us fix it quickly! We loved being in a safe, rural area that was still close to the downtown area. We’d stay here again.
