Lots of space, worn furniture, great location.

The location and size of this apartment are outstanding. It’s great that there’s an elevator, washer and separate dryer. But, the bed, couches and chairs were worn and soiled. The bathroom off the master bedroom always smelled, despite leaving the exhaust fan on continuously. And it is necessary to go to a separate location, not far away, to pick up the key. The owner is easy to communicate with. Plan to have to purchase laundry, paper towel, plastic bags, soap, etc. There was shampoo in little bottle. We operate a VRBO in Arizona and we have different standards. Perhaps our expectations were not appropriate for Lisbon. Thank you for hosting us.

Lots of room, did I mention the views.

A really nice pad, large enough to comfortably stretch out. Of course the location is in the the center of everything, And the reason you’re here are the and drop dead views of the river, and an over the rooftop view of the castle. Excellent responsive communications throughout the stay.

Lovely Lisbon

We had a fantastic city break in Lisbon staying in this beautiful apartment. It is as bright and airy as it looks in the photos with stunning floor to ceiling windows opening out to views across to the Castle or sea depending which way you looked. It is clean and spacious, the bed is very comfortable and the property has every amenity you could need. Paulo the host was easy to contact and quick to respond; replacing a faulty kitchen appliance within hours. I would recommend taking ear plugs, as mentioned in previous reviews. Not for any noise within the building, but you can’t have the convenience of being in a city centre without expecting to hear city life around you. The location really is very convenient for transport and sights and we hope to stay again in the future.

The apt. was centrally located, beautifully appointed, and accurately described. The manager arranged transportation from the port and to the airport(at 2 am no less). I would highly recommend this property!

Great views and huge apartment!

Good things first: the apartment is crazy huge! It was just my wife and myself and sometimes I had to yell to ask her where she was. The view is beautiful and the location (for the most part, see below) is very central to the sights. Mattress is awesome and the water pressure amazing. Having a second WC is also nice. A couple concerns: when checking in we were not met at apartment, but had to retrieve keys one-and-a-half blocks from apartment, from a safe, in a hallway, on the fourth floor of a building. We got to apartment and checked kitchen for needs at a grocery. Overwhelmed by the smell from the freezer which had been left to defrost. My wife emptied the drawers of water and wiped them out. We chatted Paulo who said they were waiting on a part to keep the freezer shut. This situation was not resolved during our four day stay although Paulo’s assistant did spray bleach into the freezer the next day. Then we tried to connect to Wi-Fi with no luck. Again chatted a few times with Paulo (he IS very responsive). Turns out a new router was needed and installed the next day. Also, my wife had to clean the washer before putting clothes in; it was rather disgusting. Finally, there’s a sports bar 3 floors below. If there’s a local futbol game on, close the shutters and turn the tv on loud. We use VRBO a lot in Europe and the States and realize there are some things beyond an owner’s control. Think they just need to pay a little more attention.
