This spacious two bedroom apartment is the ideal choice for BOTH a weekend away as well as your hub for longer vacations in Lisbon. One double bedroom and one twin bedroom as well as a fully fitted kitchen give you the Possibility of having a home away from home. The house has broadband internet over WiFi and cable TV for your comfort.

Located moments away from "Cathedral" and the historic "Castle of St. George ", the famous" Silver "street is in the heart of the old town and walking distance to two undergrounds stations as well as the notorious # 28 streetcar que climbs the hills of Lisbon in the classic fashion. The neighborhood is known as "Low" where you will find "Terreiro do Paco" - one of Europe's largest squares from where the Portuguese sailors set ship centuries in August

One of the best things about this area is That You can walk pretty much everywhere! In any case, there are a lot of options with regards to public transport. A 5 minute walk will get you to "Rossio" from where you can catch the train to an UNESCO World Heritage Site, the village of "Sintra". A longer walk (about 15m) will get you to "Cais do Sodre" from where you can get to Several beaches in a heartbeat. If it's nightlife you're looking for then "Bairro Alto" is Also a small walk away!

There are plenty of mini-markets around where you can do your food shopping in case you want to cook at home. There are some fantastic Also specialized wine shops in case you want to try the finest Portuguese wines.

Excellent location close to everything.

Location was great but construction in front of VRBO was unexpected. Pedro was a good host however and provided us with wine cheese and baguettes as a way to show his appreciation for our stay. Excellent restaurants and shops nearby.

Great Location !

Great location ! Close to lots of attractions .Apt had a lift which made accessing with luggage a breeze. Nice and clean , kitchen is not so well equipped , but with everything outside your door and so much to explore in Lisbon why would you want to spend time in the kitchen . Again so happy with the location , couldn’t have picked a better spot .

Perfect spot from which to see Lisbon

Access to public transportation was amazing. We tended to walk everywhere but you can hop the Metro, train and bus all within a five minute walk or less. Place was as described. Pedro was great at communicating with us and letting us check in early. Loved the balconies! Would definitely stay again!

Lisbon Baxia

The location of this unit is perfect for all the sights in Lisbon. We walked almost everywhere. It was lovely to have our coffee in the sitting area with the large windows open to the lovely street below. Quiet at night for sleeping.

Nice place/Great location

Really nice spot on a pedestrian street which made it quiet for sleeping. Great for a couple or a couple with small children. 4 adults might find it cramped. Everything is within walking distance and trains are close by. Only complaint is the shower head needs cleaning/replacement. Otherwise, a great spot and area to stay!

Easy and convenient

We took a taxi from the airport which dropped us one easy block away from the apartment. The door code was easy, getting the key out of the lock box was easy, and entering the apartment was easy. All good. And the apartment was as expected. One thing that was unexpected was that there was a washing machine and so we had time to wash clothes before heading out to Porto The location of the apartment is fantastic. Easy walks to all of the things that we wanted to see and the restaurants and cafés were all fun. Highly recommend this property!

Great apartment and even better location!

Highly recommended for up to 4 adults or a family with 1-2 children! Location is only a few minutes walk to groceries, great food, coffee, shopping, massage, and many sights and train/bus options all within a 10-20 minute walk. Pedro made communication easy, front door code and lockbox made for seamless entry and checkout. Being on the 1st floor was convenient as not too many stairs but also appreciated the elevator when carrying luggage or groceries.Beds were comfortable and rooms had huge windows that could either be bright and sunny to wake up or dark for sleeping. Ample closet space for clothes and tucking away our bags so we could feel at home. The kitchen had all basic amenities and great to have washer/dryer. Did not use the stove but saw that there were pans and some seasonings available. There were extra sheets and blankets and toilet paper, which was nice to have even if we didn’t need it. The building remained cool even on hotter days so we never used the AC units but glad to have them.Lastly, bathroom cabinet had space for toiletries and loved having a spacious living room with a couch large enough for 2 to lay down to watch some tv after a busy day of sightseeing to rest before going out to dinner.

Very central location

A great location for exploring Lisbon, with most places accessible on foot. Very comfortable flat, although in need of some new pans (very old and no lids) and a colander or sieve would be useful! The host was very responsive and we had a fabulous time in a wonderful city - despite the rain!

Our return

This was our third visit to the wonderful city of Lisboa. This property is well situated near many popular sites in the Baixa area. Although in a busy area, the apartment was quieter than we expected. We appreciate an accommodation the owner made for us.

Fantastic location

Everything in Baixa was in easy walking distance. We loved the easy access. The apartment itself was quite roomy. It overlooked the street which was noisy but the windows offered great soundproofing. (As a plus, we could hear music in the evenings. Our landlord was super helpful when we needed a specific ask, and was prompt in replying. If you like old buildings and convenience, this is a great choice.

Great location

The area is great! Perfect location, the apartment was clean with all the basics. My only complaint would be sheets, covers and pillows can use an upgrade. But I would stay there again!
