Amazing!

Wonderful apartment! Very clean, updated decor, and excellent location (10 minute bus ride which picks you up just steps from the apartment and takes you directly to port authority). Ruth was very accommodating answering all of our questions and giving great suggestions, she even had the fridge stocked, and body soap/shampoo/conditioner there and ready for our use. Will definitely use again on all of our trips to NYC!!!!

Well equipped and comfortabe appartment

We stayed in the appartment with 8 people for 3 days to have a good base position to visit Manhattan. Everything we needed was provided. The appartment was clean and in good condition. It is very easy to get to Manhattan. Busses are passing it every 3 minutes. You just need to shout and the driver lets you in and drives directly to the NY bus terminal. Very easy and comfortable. Thanks to Ruth for the good service and accomodation.

Fantastic time in New York

We spent 6 days in the apartment, which is well furnished and equipped. It has everything you need and lots of space. Ruth and Henry are really really gentile and answered all our questions. The airport shuttle service was very comfortable and everything went excellent (Georg says thank you again for let him drive!!!!!). The busses to New York stop in front of the apartment and you are at Port Authority in 10 minutes. There are supermarkets, restaurants etc nearby. There is also a bus to Hoboken, where we spent a nice evening with a fantastic view. to Manhattan. This apartment is perfect for a stay in New York. After hours running through the streets and museums we appreciated to relax there. If we visit New York again, we will stay with Ruth and Henry again.

Great place to stay! 10 mins. out of NYC

This apartment is approx. 10 mins out of NYC. We were a family of 5 adults, the apartment was very roomy & met our needs. The beds are very comfortable. It was so nice to come back to such a comfortable place after a long day in the city. We spent the 2nd 1/2 of our trip @ the Hilton in DC wishing we had these beds back. The hosts are amazing!!! We had arranged airport pick up though Ruth ahead of time & unfortunately our flight was delayed 5 times. We were originally supposed to fly in 1/2 hr. after my aunt & uncle (they are in their 70's) and all drive to the apartment together. Due to our delay we ended up arriving 4hrs. apart. Ruth was very understanding & accommodating, her driver made 2 trips to the airport to pick all of us up. After a day of complete frustration, my mind was at ease knowing that Ruth made sure my aunt & uncle were picked up when their flight landed and they would be safe at the apartment waiting for us to arrive. Her driver, Manny, was very friendly & extremely helpful. This was my 1st time booking on Homeaway and I would definately do it again. The next time I travel to NYC, I will definitely be looking into staying in one of Ruth's properties.

Absolutely perfect stay!!!

Once we arrived at the airport Myra was waiting to pick up our family and bring us to our apartment. The apartment was perfect and it even had a Christmas tree. All the beds were very comfortable and the stocked kitchen was wonderful. We had 3 adults and my three granddaughters and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. Ruth and her husband were the perfect hosts and gave us many tips on getting into the city. She even resued us when we went past our bus stop on how to get back to the apartment. Definitely woud recomnend this property.

Perfect place to enjoy New York and get Away from the hustle and bustle

My family of 7 enjoyed our stay in this two bedroom apartment that was a short bus ride away from the Port Authority bus station in New York. Once we got the the bus system figured out, we loved experiencing being in a part of New Jersey and away from the business of New York. There were plenty of beds, one of the bathrooms was big and had a jet tub. The showers were nice, and the kitchen provided plenty of seating for our family of 7. The beds were comfy, the inside was nicely decorated and we had no complaints. We would stay here again with our family if we had the chance.

Amazing!

Ruth and Henry have a great property with easy bus access to NYC! Everything we needed from groceries to restaurants to laundry mat was conveniently close. I talked to Ruth several times when I had questions abt anything regarding our travel and site seeing since it was our first time and she was very kind and helpful! We brought our six children with us and were very comfortable the whole time! Thank you Ruth and Henry!

60th Birthday Trip

My wife always wanted to see New York so I surprized her with this trip. I searched the listings on VRBO for several weeks but always came back to this one and i'm glad I did. The place was verry nice and convenant to all we wanted to do. Ruth and her husband were great host. always there to help. When we came home one evening we found that one of the A/C units was not working , I called Ruth and even tho it was late they came over and replaced the unit that night. Great service to their renters.

A great find

We enjoyed staying at Ruth's apartment. It was clean, convenient to bus stops and to NY, had plenty of towels and essential needs and it was more spacious than expected. It looked smaller in the pictures. Ruth was able to arrange transportation to and from the airport and the driver, Myra, was very reliable. Overall, a great find!

Birthday trip

It was my birthday we had a girls trip in NYC. Ruth was so helpful with early check in to giving directions to get to the city. She even called back to make sure we made it alright. Awesome host great place.

Cozy, clean and comfortable!

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Our group of 9 just stayed during a trip to NYC for my moms 60th birthday. Ruth was wonderfully accommodating and was very prompt in answering all of my questions leading up to arrival. We had troubles getting one of the toilets to flush the first day we were there, and within 30 minutes of texting her to let her know of the issue, she had it repaired. The neighborhood was much quieter than staying in the city, but still big enough that we had a supermarket and several restaurants close by. The bus stop being less than a block away was also a huge bonus!! All 9 of us commented how comfortable the beds were. We were slightly worried about how much hot water would be left after 9 girls showered and got ready every morning, but the last girls always had to turn the temperature down because there was plenty of hot water, and water pressure was great. A great value, and exactly what we wanted!

Clean, cute, convenient!

We stayed in this home for 4 nights and loved it. The apartment was extremely clean and so cute. Beds were comfortable and Ruth was very helpful with directions in to town, information on busses to NY City and everything in between. Any questions I had were quickly answered via text and she made suggestions as to the cheapest way to travel to different areas. The “chicken busses” picked us up right out in front of the apartment every time. The drivers see you walking to the bus stop and just pull over and pick you up, it was great! The bus ride want more than 20 minutes over to New York City. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was convenient to get to. The apartment was clear and comfortable. There were a few small things that could be fixed. The lamps in the living room did not work. The back yard could of been more presentable in case someone wanted to use it. Thank you.

Fantastic!! A must stay when you are visiting New York City!

Ruth is a WONDERFUL host! The apartment is so cute and very well maintained. The location is perfect to New York City. The buses practically pick you up right at the front door, and run every five minutes to take you to the city. Ruth set up transportation for us to and from the airport, and made everything so easy. Directions on how to use the transportation into New York City, restaurant ideas, etc.... were all provided by Ruth. We had an amazing time!! Thank you so much Ruth! I have already recommended you to several friends back home.

Nice place. Nicely furnished and roomy. Most importantly-very clean.

Very roomy and comfortable apartment/condo. Nicely updated. Only 2 small complaints. Curb appeal is not great and we were just a little apprehensive until we opened the door and found a delightful little dwelling. The second is a curious sewer or other drainage noise that seemed to come and go at all hours. Finally got used to it but it was unusual. Renovating the backyard would be appealing during times when the weather would allow. Also, very convenient to bus lines into the city. Super easy public transpo!

Cute, well thought out and convenient location. Very helpful owners!

This apartment was a bit better than described because of the attention to details. It is in a very convenient location-easy and quick travel to NYC and other cool places. The owner provides you with very helpful tips on where to go and how to get there. The apartment itself is clean and cute. I loved that they give you a code you can remember so there is no key. The beds are comfortable too. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!
