Luxury A-Frame w/ Lake Access, Great For Families

GetAway to a brand new construction A-frame in the quiet Point Beach neighborhood, less than a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk) to downtown Egg Harbor. The neighborhood has deeded access to the water to take in the water views, see beautiful sunsets, and launch a kayak or paddle board. Relax on the large outdoor deck equipped with a fire pit, grill, and outdoor dining table. See the neighborhood deer and other wildlife almost everyday.
The space

GetAway Door Co. A-Frame is perfect for a family (or 2) with a bunk room for all of the kids. It also houses two couples very comfortably, with a primary king bedroom (on suite bath) upstairs and a king bedroom and a bunk room with a shared full bathroom/laundry room on the first floor. Get restful sleep on luxury bedding and enjoy plush towels and provided robes. The open concept living room and kitchen open up through large sliding large doors to connect to the exterior deck.

Cozy up by the fireplace in the living room and enjoy many of the classic board games. Enjoy the fire pit and gas grill on the deck as well as an outdoor dining table for six. The interior balcony has a reading nook and yoga area with Alo mats provided. The third story loft has another cozy reading alcove that is accessible through the primary bedroom. The many skylights provide gorgeous beams of light on a sunny day throughout the entire house.

GetAway Door Co. is perfect for a quiet getaway but is also very close to many restaurants, bars and shops. In 5 minutes you can be in downtown Egg Harbor, 15 minutes to Fish Creek and 10 mins to Stones Throw Winery.

Place is as advertised. Nice, quiet residential neighborhood, but still "away". Had deer visitors every day We appreciated all the games, the fan (forgot our noise machine), and the arcade cabinet in the kids room. You don't need much else to enjoy some time in Door County. Would have liked to try the coffee advertised but oh well.

Great stay

We (two families with total of 4 kids) loved our stay at the A-frame. We had everything we needed at the house and were close to all the activities we wanted to do during our trip. The home is beautiful in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood.

Highly Recommend for a Family Vacation

We had a great family vacation at Kevin's A-frame. Check-in and out were easy and straightforward, and the house was clean, cozy and well-stocked with all the necessary amenities. The neighborhood was quiet but just a quick drive and you're right in town. We really enjoyed all the deer visitors we had throughout our stay! We would definitely recommend Kevin's place.

Lovely Spot

Lovely part of Egg Harbor. Perfect spot for a small family get together. The woods around the house are filled with deer. Close walk to the water. Well appointed. Hosts Kevin and Allison great at communication. Very nice spot!

Family Time

We spent five wonderful days at the A-frame. It was in a wooded area where we saw a mother deer and her fawns each morning. It was a block from the water and an easy drive into town. It had everything we could possibly need! We felt like we were the first guests. We grilled out and ate outside, we cooked together in the large kitchen, and we even went down to the local beach. This was a perfect spot for our growing family of 6! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay in beautiful Door County!

My parents and I stayed for a week while we visited family in the area and the house was the perfect home base. It feels very spacious and we all had plenty of room for privacy while the open floor plan kitchen and living room was perfect for hanging out as a family! The property is two blocks from the water and close to everything in Egg Harbor. Our family all came by to see the house and now it's at the top of all of our lists for future stays! The owners were very responsive and helpful and they left us a great list of local places to explore (which my uncle, who's been coming to DC for 30 years) approved of ;) The house was clean and stocked with thoughtful basics like coffee, cleaning supplies and they even had Ziplocs and foil which as a frequent VRBO-er is rare. Everything was extremely well organized and easy to locate and operate. 10/10 stars!

Perfect cozy A-frame

This was such a great property! First, it was in a great location, just a short 3 minute drive to downtown Egg Harbor which is so cute. We had a great time exploring the shops and restaurants. Also the property is 2 blocks away from a deeded lake access. The lake is rocky but we watched a beautiful sunset from there on our last night. The house was the star of it all. It was spotless on our arrival and was fully stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers, extra throw blankets and a fully stocked kitchen. The beds and linens were so comfortable that we felt like we were staying at a 5 star hotel. We loved the back deck and enjoyed a couple of nights sitting around the gas fire pit. The owners were really responsive whenever we had a question. I highly recommend this property. The owners really put a lot of thought into the decor so that it feels peaceful and truly like a “home away from home”. We will definitely be back again.

Beautiful property in a terrific location. One of the smoke detectors started beeping and the owner was very responsive. A repairman came over in less than one hour and fixed the problem.
