Combined with the area's mild climate, the beaches make Silver Strand one of the area's finest recreation destinations. Surfing, swimming, boating, water-skiing, volleyball, and picnicking are popular activities. Anglers can fish for perch, corbina, grunion and yellow-fin croaker.
