About this space Located about 15 minutes by car from the capital of Philipsburg on the Dutch side of the island. We are about 8 minutes from the major supermarket Carrefour on Bush Road and about 10 minutes drive from the medical center. The space: This spacious rental is located upstairs from the main house of the owners. It is a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. It is the perfect choice for a couple, family, or group of friends. You will usually hear the birds chirping or dogs occasionally barking. It’s beautiful, it’s quiet, it’s private and the view from up here is “breathtaking”. Guest access You’ll have access to the entire apartment via your private entrance.
Beverly and her family were very helpful when we asked for assistance.Location suited us perfectly. However the home is up a very windy steep hillside and we would strongly recommend renting a vehicle. We used Alamo and ventured to new places every day. The beaches are lovely but not our cup of tea and the sun was extremely intense. However we took advantage of in the shade bars and restaurants.Interior was spotless and we used both decks everyday. A family member does coordinate island tours and make sure to book ahead. Beware that practically everywhere is closed on Sundays on French and Dutch sides.Locals speak many languages, both sides use Euros and US dollars. Even Guilders if you have any tucked away. The islanders are very friendly, not at all aggressive and we felt safe everywhere which is desirable for travelling seniors.Our stay was 14 days and we enjoyed the experience of island living. There are many quaint spots if you go sniffing. Oh and the drivers are very polite especially with roundabout protocols and there are many.

Exceeded expectations
This was our first time in Saint Martin so we were nervous about booking a property but ended up feeling so lucky to have fallen upon Beverly’s Hidden Paradise. The property perched in the hills of Mary’s Fancy seems secluded and difficult to find at first but is in fact conveniently located only five minutes drive from amenities such as the largest Carrefour on the island, petrol stations, restaurants and great beaches. The neighbourhood feels safe and is so quiet that the first night our group slept an astonishing nine hours. The flat itself exceeds all expectations: impeccably clean, every amenity thoughtfully provided (tin openers, knives, Tupperware storage containers, pots, pans, cooking utensils of every description), large comfortable King size beds each with their own huge en-suite bathrooms. We especially appreciated the sweet snacks and drinks Beverly had thoughtfully left for us upon our arrival. The wraparound terrace with it’s panoramic views over the island is also a wonderful feature of the property. Parking is easy and convenient just outside the property and nothing has been overlooked by the amazing Beverly. Thank you so much for our amazing stay!
