Located just steps from the Columbia Street Landing Riverfront Park, this beautifully restored 1926 Arts and Crafts gem in the Historic District is the large private guest quarters to a home walkable to all the best that Covington has to offer. Stroll to restaurants, great coffee houses, parks, boutique shopping, grocer and the Southern Hotel. With original details, high ceilings and hardwood floors, this newly restored two bedroom and two bath has its own private entrance and huge private outdoor deck. Just down the back drive to walk to the river park to kayak, paddle board or take in a free outdoor concert in the Spring and Fall. Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea each morning on your private deck shaded by Live Oaks and Magnolia trees.

We had a fabulous weekend in Covington. House is absolutely adorable and the location is perfect for walking to all of the wonderful restaurants that Covington has to offer.

Louisiana getaway

Property was very clean and comfortable. Loved the location. Walkable to restaurants, shops and grocery. Host responded quickly when we discovered there was no toaster and dropped one off right away. We would stay here again next time we're in Covington.

Great Location

Our experience with this property was extremely positive. The furnishing were comfortable, lots of hot water and wonderful water pressure in the shower. Quiet location but in walking distance to most anything in the downtown part. Great restaurants and very nice shopping experiences. We look forward to a return.

River landing guest cottage

Very comfortable place and great location. The pictures are accurate except now there is a cooktop and oven which isn’t in the pictures or the listing. Great communication. Highly recommended.

Resident stay was clean & comfortable. It appeared to be a work in progress. Primary bed & bath were finished except for ceiling light & bathroom lighting. The smaller secondary bedroom was adequate & nice. Second bath was small, shower space small. Overall , a nice stay. Excellent location, walkable to numerous great restaurants & local attractions. Thumbs down on driveway entrance & parking.. We were requested to enter through a back driveway entrance. Narrow entry with overgrown shrubbery, & rutted drive. Parking area had large tree roots & overgrown shrubs. Driveway & & parking was on dirt, unpaved…no gravel or shells.

We enjoyed a nice weekend getaway at the cottage. The rooms were clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The private deck was a wonderful space to spend a bit of time in the mornings and evenings! The location made it easy to walk to places downtown, but the actual setting still felt quite private which was exactly what we wanted!
