Visiting with family

I was in the area visiting with family and I stayed in this charming, comfortable house in the heart of Cornwall. The owner was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this rental.

Cozy, comfortable, and convenient!We rented for a Palisades jaunt including - Storm King, Sleepy Hallow/Tarrytown, and Croton on Hudson - and the location was perfect. Quite street with wonderful porch spaces (front and back) - spacious bedrooms and tvs on the 1st and 3rd floors. There was plenty of room for being together, but also getting a bit of space. Easy to get to conveniences, like Dunkin, and the grocery story, BUT the property was well stocked with all sorts of incidentals (e.g. foil, garbage bags, utensils, etc.) so we didn't need much. The host was friendly and accommodating - even checking in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. Really couldn't have had a better experience. Keeping this one on the list for our return trip!

Cute little house

Perfect little house for a long weekend. The house was clean and kitchen was well equipped. The neighborhood was safe too. Thanks for the stay will return if in area again.

This was more than your typical vacation rental. We were having major renovations in our home and stayed in this wonderful little house for 3 weeks (with 3 needs to extend our stay). This truly became our home; welcoming, cozy, and quiet. Our “family” was able to remain intact due to the kindness of the owners. We could not have imagined spending 22 days without our little ones. There was nothing better than cuddling up around the woodstove in the evening with a glass of wine to decompress from the day’s happenings. The warmth and coziness of the of the woodstove was enjoyed by “everyone” in the family. We had the best Super Bowl party for 2; Roku TV was great! Everything was provided; complete kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and gas stove. On the back porch was a gas grill and wood for the woodstove. The 3rd floor was perfect for quietly working in the office space. If you needed anything, DG was a 5-minute walk. Quiet, little to no traffic apart from the daily school bus.I would more than recommend this lovely little house for a weekend in the Hudson Valley or an extended stay. You feel at home from the minute that you walk through the door. We could not have picked a better place to stay.Our thanks to Robert and his team! A perfect place to stay for West Point graduate parents; twenty-minute drive.

Sweet little place

really sweet and charming little house. It snowed while I was there and magically, the snow was gone from the sidewalks and driveway when I got up. Just a beautiful little location with lots of trees and hills and the town is very sweet. I went to the Hudson River almost every day even though it was freezing. Just took a few minutes to get there.

R Day

We stayed here when we dropped our son off at R Day for West Point. Very easy drive to West Point, convenient restaurants in town, house was exactly as described, check in was easy and convenient. No issues and would stay again. Thanks.
