I wish I could keep this place as my own little secret...but everyone needs more precious experiences in places like Seavey Cove. Beware of the spell this place will put on you!

Perfectly rustic. Watching the 4th of July fireworks from the deck was a treat - as was figuring out how to set up the vintage ironing board :-)Nice location with plenty of activities nearby; nice location if you don't want to do anything but breathe in nature.

It was a perfect place to relax next to the cove and still be close to all the fun stuff. The best part was watching the ducks and baby geese swim by every morning and night.

Fantastic property, great location! We loved watching the tide change, kayaked, the frisbee golf was a huge hit. Perfect place for our family and we saw all the sites along the coast of Maine. Our hosts were quick to respond, helpful, and gave us some fantastic recommendations! Would definitely stay here again!

Once again, we loved our stay at the Cove Cottage! We love the silence and beauty, and its proximity to so much good food and hiking. During this stay, we tried McLoon's Lobster Shack -- great food and gorgeous setting.

Back home today and missing Cove Cottage terribly! We almost didn’t make it this year due to medical reasons and a particularly tough past year, but we are SO HAPPY that we did. It was just what we needed to reset and reconnect after a challenging year.I was very comfortable in the downstairs bedroom while my daughter took the upstairs. We enjoyed connecting with my dear high school classmate who lives and works in the area, kayaking, walking the grounds of the Olson House in Cushing, cooking meals at home, and eating delicious seafood out.I found myself gravitating back to the big rock overlooking the cove for my morning meditations, while my daughter rested and wrote in the hammock. After one hot, long paddle in the tandem kayak we rented, we both jumped into the cove for a brief, icy-but-refreshing swim. These beautiful summer memories, made here, are ones we will always treasure.Vanessa and Paul are absolutely the best hosts. They are there if you need them, responsive to communication, and yet maintain such a respectful distance that you feel as though you have this magical place all to yourself.We cannot thank you enough for renting to us again. Cove Cottage gave us exactly the reset we needed, and we are already missing it. Vanessa and Paul, we wish you both a very happy and healthy year ahead!

The cabin and surrounding area was private and quiet. The cabin was a beautiful Maine cottage with absolutely beautiful views of the cove! My dogs and I really enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect to sit and relax or take my dogs for a hike. The host made the cottage very dog friendly.

I had an absolutely wonderful week at the Cove Cottage. Beautiful views every morning until nightfall. Very quiet and private location and so easy to slip in a kayak into the cove right outside your back door.

This is a very well kept, comfortable and cozy property in an absolutely beautiful location. We had a wonderful time. The absolutely perfect weather that we had all week was a fantastic bonus, but we could tell that we would have enjoyed ourselves even on foggy, rainy days.

Beautiful little cabin on a quiet cove! We had a great time. If you’re looking for privacy off the beaten path this is perfect. But lots of driving to get to popular destinations well worth it for my family and I.

Great little cottage in the cove with everything you need to relax and unwind. Location is the best for easy access to Rockland and Camden. We enjoyed kayaking and lobster at McCloons. Our dog loved swimming in the cove. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

I'm a seventh grade English teacher at a local school. My husband works in Camden at a gift shop. We both love to travel, hike and enjoy the sea.

This property has been in my family since the mid 1700's. Part of the cabin was built in the 1930's and the newer section was added onto in the 1970's. The property is unique because it is private and the cabin literally sits on a small spit of land over looking the cove. There is a view of the water on three sides. Also, the cove is a beautiful emerald green due to the reflection of the surrounding trees.
