Renovated Raleigh Bungalow

Renovated Ranch Bungalow just minutes to Downtown Raleigh, NCSU and RDU, Walnut Creek Amphitheater, Red Hat Amphitheater, PNC Arena and much more! This space is perfect the weekend getaway, visiting your favorite sports event or traveling for business. There are 2 desk spaces with one printer and complimenatry WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped - ranging from our coffee bar to fully renovated kitchen with gas range. We also offer full use of our washer and dryer (detergent is supplied). This bungalow also offers a large back deck with privacy fence - great for your morning coffee or reading and relaxing.

Raleigh just opened its first Wegmans Grocery store (a few minutes away/Wake Forest Rd) so you may want to venture out to stock up the kitchen for your stay.

Parking: Plenty of parking space in the long driveway.
Other things to note
Upon check out, Please put your sheets and towels in the wash and Load and Run the dishwasher if there are any dirty dishes.

Early Check-In is $30.00 per hour
Late Check-Out is $30.00 per hour

This is a quiet and private neighborhood and any gatherings are Strictly Prohibited. Any guests that stay in the home Must be noted on the reservation. In consideration of the neighbors, I ask that noise be kept to a minimum after 9 PM.

No smoking on the premises. There will be a $350 fine for any evidence of smoking In or around the unit.

Great stay in a nice quiet neighborhood! Perfect for a little stay and close to downtown. The rooms were spacious and clean and host was readily available if we had any needs! Highly recommend staying here!

A trip to remember

This property is absolutely lovely and very “homey” if that’s how you say. It was the absolute cherry on top for our trip. The property was stunning and it had what we needed during our trip. The host is lovely and communicative. I would definitely recommend others to come stay.

Nice cozy place it just need the furniture cleaned and dusted. The Host Kim was understanding and addressed my concerns. I'm traveling while recovering from a hip replacement surgery and the bed was amazingly comfortable and the walk in shower was most accommodating I'd stay here again in the future. Thank you Kim

LOVED THIS GEM!!

We stayed here sadly for only one night while traveling on a food tour through the South. I wish we could have stayed here longer, the house is adorable, the beds were super comfy, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again! A meal at The Blind Pelican is a must!

A wonderful getaway

This cozy bungalow home has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The personal touch in every room is commendable and we loved using the wood burning fireplace. We would love to stay there again.

Well equipped kitchen, nice laundry room, plenty of towels, nice shower. We had 6 adults and needed more seating in the living area. Overall well pleased with our stay.

Well appointed bungalow

The bungalow had a nicely appointed kitchen. Ours was a short stay, so no cooking, but it would have been a great kitchen to prepare a meal with olive oil and basic spices provided. Likely our favorite part though, was the comfortable beds. We are on a multi stop trip up the east coast and we were very tired when we arrived and appreciated the comfortable sleep.

Great house! Very clean and comfortable.

Property owner was so responsive. We had a minor issue getting in, but she came right over and fixed the problem. Everything we needed was in the house. Great location and super clean! We would stay again.

Softball Stay

We stayed here for softball games that we were attending at NC State. Great location! Owner was a little behind on messaging but ended up giving me a direct call and all was good. Very clean!

Christmas in Raleigh

Quick stay

This was a quick visit to Raleigh for us so we didn’t spend much time at all at the bungalow. It was super cute and clean. There were a few minor things like empty handsoap dispensers but nothing that would keep us from staying at this property in the future. It was tough getting a response to questions but the most important info was automatically sent in a timely manner so we had what we needed to enter and exit the property.

The perfect around the corner get away

This house is conveniently located about 15 minutes from the down town Raleigh thing we came to do and so many other adventure where even closer but this house is tucked right bank out side the city in a cute, clean, wooded neighborhood. We loved it!

There have been some nice updates to this VRBO. As a previous owner of a VRBO, I do notice things. Showers were nice and kitchen area, but we did not use stove. Some things need a little cleaning and repairing. Please throw out the coffee flavors on wall...almost empty and outdated. The need to jiggle the master bathroom commode handle to stop it from running is costly to owner if renters do not notice and stop the running. The master bedroom door is coming apart and it pops loudly when opening as it sticks to frame. We didn't spend too much time outside due to the heat, but the outside areas could use some updating and clean up. The trash cans at the street in front of the property is unsightly. If I was neighbors, I would complain. There were wet sheets and towels in dryer when we arrived, which we rewashed as they smelled. The dryer was forever in drying, even when we split up the load of rewashed sheets and towels. In all, the location was good for us for the wedding venue and a little local shopping.

Nice Bungalo

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however we did have some issues. Our key code was not set up at 3pm when we arrived, so we had to wait outside for about 30 minutes to get it set up by the host. Then once we got inside, we discovered that the house had not been cleaned. I called the host and she asked if I wanted her to come by and clean and I said yes, She did a quick clean while we were there which was a little bit awkward but by 6:30 PM we were able to enjoy the house on our own. I think it would’ve been appropriate for the host to offer us some sort of discount, but she did not. There were also some things missing/lacking, like only one towel & face cloth per person for the weekend, one kitchen towel, no soap in the master bathroom, no coffee filters, and no extra trash bags. These may have been things that would’ve been provided by the cleaning service, but we did not have that. Hopefully the host can ensure that this does not happen again because it was a great little house with a beautiful backyard.
