My wife and I rented this property for 3 weeks in July and had a rotating cast of our friends come to visit while we were there. The amazing camp (what Mainers call cabins) was full of charm and perfect for us and our friends.
Ward pond is a beautiful and quiet body of water, and the water in the little cove next to the camp was warm, private, and perfect for swimming, floating, paddling the provided kayaks and canoe, and fishing for the sizable bass that live in the pond.
The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we have ever found at a rental house, with knives that were actually sharp and plenty of pots and pans. The air conditioning did its job well on warm, humid days, and the screened in porch was perfect for hanging out at night or on rainy days.
Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!
