Fantastic condo! Communication with owner was great and check in was seamless. It’s right on the beach! Definitely a good spot.

Quite section of HHI, let close to all the fun.

The villa has been nicely updated and the view was great. Robert the host was very accommodating and responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Best part of the unit is the view, by far. The condo was clean enough. It is in need of some simple updates. One bedside table was missing a leg. Bedside wall lamps hanging by a thread. Cords strung from kitchen around walls, over sliding door to other side… simple updates could be done to fix the electrical situation. We read the signs in the elevator explaining why all the sprinkler system heads were wide open and not functioning (and moldy), but feel that should have been disclosed. Finally, it was a bit deceptive to say bikes were included when really it was just 140 credit towards bikes that still became an extra cost. Check-in was simple, but information could have easily been provided without requiring us to go to the South end to turn around and go back to the North end.

Other than the out dated door lock that was frustrating, it was fine. The property manager, sorry, forgot his name. He was extremely nice, relatable, helpful and attentive to helping with this lock issue.

Admiral Row Getaway

The unit has a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean. That is the highlight. Why we had to go to Orleans Rd to pick up the door lock combination, my wife and I will never know. It was dirty upon arrival (popcorn and box scraps on the floor). Being on the top floor, it sounded like a jet engine from the AC unit when sleeping. Patio door was hard to open. Everything else was ok.

This will be a 5 star if a couple of things get attention

Beautiful spot. Elevator is close by door, very handy. Excellent views especially morning sunrise. Comfortable furniture especially on the deck. New appliances and all worked well. The following things need attention to make it a perfect vacation spot. Needs a frying pan as well as lids for the pots, the fan in the bedroom needs to be replaced. The bearings are shot making it annoying to use. The doors squeak and the slider was difficult to operate (I had WD 40 with me so I fixed those issues). An electrical outlet did not work, however maintenance fixed it very quickly. Maintenance people are caring and want to know how to make the place better. I am sure if the owner updates the above it will consistently earn 5 stars. I will rent this place again.

Overall impression....you are staying here because of the location to the beach. Internet was a hiccup for two days and host made it seem like we didn't know how to connect to it. Later we were given a new login to access. We requested the light in the living room/dining area be fixed, bulbs replaced if needed....contacted the host multiple times as well as the front office, no repairs or contact made or attempted. Mattresses were like sleeping on a board. The pull out mattress in the sofa sounded like a listing ship when you rolled over. There were weird green ice cubes left behind in the freezer from the previous guest. There is some sort of mechanical unit that runs for the building near the main bedroom which runs constantly making peaceful sleep difficult. We had issues with the door and the code locking successfully at times. We were only a party of 3 and can't imagine a party of 6 staying here without being over top of each other. Really was no place to hang towels, etc. for three let alone if six people were showering, etc. Beach was amazing, but probably would not book a return visit.

Yes life is a wonder. We helped you get the internet working and got the cable company to reset everything. We never got a call about a light bulb. But here is yge great part you never mentioned the spectacular oceanview or the beautiful oceanfront pools. You just complained about 3 green ice cubes and a light bulb. I would agree that you should not stay there again. This is a beautiful one bedroom oceanfront condo with gorgeous views. It is priced as a one bedroom and i challenge anyone to find a better deal for this price. Awesome condo for the money!!! Great beaches!! Beautiful views. Thank you Hilton Head Vacations
