Formerly home to Manuel Tizol Marquez, a luminary of the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, this residence echoes with musical history. Manuel's nephew, the renowned Juan Tizol, drew inspiration here before joining Duke Ellington's band and composing classics like Caravan.



Our thoughtfully enhanced eight-bedroom retreat invites you to experience the fusion of rich heritage and modern comfort, boasting approximately 5,500 square feet of space. Discover an oasis within the city—a serene interior patio and meticulously designed spaces await large groups seeking an unforgettable stay.



Each of the eight bedrooms is equipped with air conditioning for your comfort, while the common areas reflect the charm of the original historic design and do not include AC.

While embracing the charm of this historic building, it's important to note that its plumbing is sensitive. We kindly ask guests not to throw anything down the drains or use excessive amounts of paper at once to ensure the smooth functioning of the system.

Please keep in mind that Puerto Rico is an island that sometimes experiences water and electricity outages. The vibrant atmosphere of Puerto Rico means street noise is part of the experience. If you're a light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs. Additionally, while we do our best to keep critters away, the tropical weather here means they can be a bit persistent. There are seasonal bugs that are attracted to light, so we advise turning off the lights to encourage them to move away.
