Great Location, but Thats it / Bad Host

The Locations is the apartment’s key advantage. Beds were okay, Bathroom was in disrepair, Kitchen as well (neither the Coffee Maker nor the Dishwasher were working) Some lights didn’t worked. We had a big issue with the power and internet in the apartment ( on Saturday evening we came back to no power, flickering lights and no Internet). I’m still waiting on a response of the host …All of the food in the fridge was spoiled and there was no hot water. power came back by itself on The following morning just before we left, which is unacceptable !

Deutlich unter den Erwartungen

Sehr schlecht gewartete Wohnung. Kühlschrank läuft aus. Bad verschimmelt. Whirlpool nicht vorhanden. Schlechteste Erfahrung seit vielen Jahren. Extrem geschickt fotografierte Bilder der Wohnung, auf der die Schadstellen nicht sichtbar sind.

Disappointing

Place was in disrepair: water damage from a window leak, broken patio furniture, doors that don't fully close, freezer completely blocked with ice, some lights not working, trouble with the hot water in the bathtub (addressed during stay), closet full of empty beer bottles, etc., etc. Location was super convenient to sites (~1 block from the Grand Place) but apartment is above restaurants and bars that are noisy until late. Front room facing this noisy street is the bedroom with green and yellow beds. The other bedroom is at the back and is quieter (blue and gold beds). Place is spacious with a pretty good layout. Patio is nice to have. Multiple inaccuracies in listing: "Coin laundry" and "dryer" are listed but was told that meant a laundromat that was a 5 min walk away, "air conditioning" is technically true but consists of small portable unit set up in the living room, no shower rod or curtains despite being in pictures, "hot tub" / "spa tub" is laughable for a standard bathtub that didn't have a working spigot, only a handheld shower head that was partially clogged (this was the worst bathing experience I've had in a short term rental); I didn't inquire but I don't see how this place could possibly have "Parking on site", "paper towels" provided after requesting.
