Relax in the hammocks or take in the breathtaking views from the large covered porch, complete with an outdoor dining table for al fresco meals. As the day turns to dusk, gather around the firepit with ample seating, creating a cozy ambiance to recount the day's adventures and toast marshmallows under the starry sky. During the winter months, the flowers and hammocks may not be available, however the snowy landscape will be scattered with wildlife activity.

The Carriage House boasts a spacious upstairs living room where everyone can gather and create lasting memories. The fully equipped kitchen provides all the necessary amenities, so you can whip up meals to your heart's content, savoring the flavors of your foraged fruits or local market finds. If you need a quick caffeine fix or wish to prepare your favorite brew, our coffee bar will keep you fueled and ready for your adventures. You'll find large bedrooms and a laundry room ensures you can pack light and have everything you need for an extended stay. Families with little ones will find our space thoughtfully equipped to cater to kids of all ages. A crib, pack n play, feeding chair, toys, kids' books, and puzzles are at your disposal, ensuring a stress-free stay for both parents and children.

We understand that your pets are cherished members of the family, which is why we gladly welcome them. Leashed pets are invited to join the adventure, and we provide crates, pet beds, pet towels, and pet dishes. Please ensure that your pets stay out of the fenced in areas and away from the working farm dogs.

Our location is both convenient and secluded, located just about an hour from the bustling city of Chicago (travel times may vary depending on traffic and time of day), and only 30 minutes from O'Hare airport. Conveniently situated off the I-90 and Beverly exit, the NOW arena, a popular local venue, is just minutes away.

This property is situated on a farm in a semi-rural area adjacent to state land preserves, offering a unique natural setting. Guests should be aware that encounters with both large and small wildlife, such as deer and coyotes, as well as various insects and pests, are possible during your stay. Rest assured, the house undergoes regular inspections and treatments by a professional pest control company to minimize any potential inconveniences. In the event you encounter any issues related to wildlife or pests during your stay, we kindly request that you notify us immediately, and we will make every effort to resolve the situation promptly. For your safety and comfort, please ensure that all doors, including the sliding glass door, remain closed when not in use. Windows may be opened, but it is essential to secure the screens in place. Please note that no refunds will be issued in connection with wildlife or bug-related encounters, as we consider them an integral part of the natural surroundings offered by this unique property.
