Perfect lake house retreat! This home just went through a major renovation in 2023 - it feels like a brand new home with upgrades throughout. It is a 4 bedroom and 3 full bath, ~3000 square foot home. It is large enough to sleep 12 comfortably and is located only 1 hour 15 min away from Chicago! 20 minutes to Lake Geneva, <20 min from Alpine Valley, and 30 minutes from Milwaukee. Great for families or a friends weekend getaway. We have almost an acre of property and over 50 feet of lake frontage.

Please keep in mind that this is my family's vacation home with our personal touches and effects. This is not a cookie cutter rental property nor a full time business. We ask you to take care of it like you would your own space, since we open up our doors to others when we are not using it ourselves.

*IMPORTANT* - Ring Doorbell on Property
We have Ring doorbell camera by the exterior front door of our house. It takes short motion activated video clips when someone walks to the door or comes down the driveway. There are no cameras elsewhere on the property.

We do NOT allow parties or special events at my home. We are located in a residential neighborhood and have this rule out of respect for our neighbors. Please no wedding inquiries.

Lake/Boat Rentals: There is one local company that rent boats. The lake is great for boating, swimming (there is a great sandbar area for hanging out - only accessible by boat/kayak), and fishing (especially in our bay or right off our dock, where it is shallow with greenery). Please note that there is *no walk in beachfront* from which to enter the water, so you'll need to do that by boat/kayak. Our boat is on a locked lift and is never included in the rental.

We are close to many family friendly and recreational activities such as petting zoos, nature areas, and golfing.

Kitchen: *brand new* -all major appliances are stainless steel - dishwasher, french door refrigerator/freezer, gas stove/oven, microwave, and garbage disposal. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cups, wine glasses, pots, pans, and small appliances such as a coffee maker, blender, toaster, food processor, and slow cooker.

Pets: Allowed on a case by case basis with extra pet fee and contract addendum.

Rates: Our base nightly rate is for up to 8 guests. We do charge $25/guest/night for guests 9-12. VRBO will automatically calculate these fees, but they are not very transparent about it in their current system, so I am including it here.

No smoking allowed in the home.
