Welcome to 314 Stockley Street where Turtles abound, Fish are afloat, Ducks are ducking, and the Eagle is eyeing! This reimagined 3BR, 3BA Beach Bungalow overlooks Silver Lake where many memorable moments have already been made, as it quietly beckons new ones in this modern take on the old cottage. An airy Great Room with a lofty vaulted ceiling is the perfect place to relax, while meal prep might even be enticing again in this irresistible kitchen surrounded by whisper-quiet stainless appliances, pretty painted soft close cabinetry, and a large quartz Cambria island. Grab your favorite libation and head for the adjoining covered dining deck as you enjoy a panorama of sights and sounds and nods to nature. This charming Southern Delaware dwelling exudes an eclectic mix of finishes and styles from the Great Room to the Bunk Room in this lazy lake house and is the sweet spot between sophistication and playfulness. Reservations are Ripe! Come stay (play) with us!
Pet Policy: A maximum of two dogs are permitted, each weighing no more than 30 pounds. All dogs must be hypoallergenic and non-shedding, well groomed, and free of fleas and ticks, with continuous flea and tick prevention in place. Dogs must be professionally groomed prior to occupancy. No other animals are permitted on the premises. As a condition of the rental agreement, the guest must provide a current photograph of each dog, proof of active flea and tick protection, proof of current rabies vaccination, and proof of grooming prior to arrival.

Damage Waiver fee (plus tax, if applicable), which covers accidental damage to the property or its contents—such as furniture, appliances, or fixtures—up to $3,000, provided the incident is reported to the host before checkout.
This fee replaces the need for a traditional security deposit, offering peace of mind during your stay.

Easy check-in with keypad, beautiful property with open floor plan so you can enjoy cooking, watching Tv and playing games all in one space. The ducks were entertaining. Close to many restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful time.

We loved this house especially the huge deck overlooking Silver Lake. It was always breezy and shady there, a great place to relax! The kitchen is very updated and well stocked. We appreciated all the paper products, cleaning supplies and staples, even coffee. The living room was very comfortable with a roomy sectional sofa and large screen tv. The beds were also quite comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets provided. It was a bit of a walk to the beach but an easy bike ride. One suggestion is for better lighting in the bathrooms and more hooks and towel bars. We all had a wonderful time, even our little dog!

Great house for a family

We love the space and location. The straight walk to the boardwalk on sisewalks is perfect for fetting steps in and frabbing a cup of coffee. We love the lake and watching the animals and birds.

A great find for our stay in Rehoboth

We stayed at this property for a long weekend (Thursday to Sunday) in Rehoboth. We rent each year in OBX and Rehoboth and this was by far the best-appointed home we have ever rented. You can tell that the guest experience is very important to the owners. The house (like new) is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Sitting on the deck, which overlooks the lake, is a wonderful and relaxing experience. We had our coffee out there each morning and listened to the peaceful sound of bird song while watching turtles come to surface underneath the floating pear blossoms. Delightful! The location is great; I walked with my dog to the ocean access on Chesapeake Street. I also walked to Rehoboth Avenue to buy some greeting cards. We hope to be back later this year for another long weekend.

Beautiful home with wild entertainment

The layout of the home, positions of the bathrooms, and kitchen appointments were perfect. The location was ideal for our family to get walks to the beach in and enjoy the neighborhood. We all loved the back porch the most. Bird watching (a heron visits daily!), ospreys are active, and bunny sighting. SO MANY BUNNIES! The turtles are fascinating and the carp are huge! Love the bonus wildlife viewing.
