Just between Camp Creek Lake, Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach is the colorful beach community of Seacrest Beach. It’s close to everything, and yet somehow quite relaxed. The town center of Seacrest is arguably the Village of South Walton featuring boutique shops and dining options, plus 30A’s only Starbucks! Peddler’s Pavilion is located in the middle of all the action with bike rentals and other fun outdoor activities. There’s also a 12,000 square foot swimming pool hidden in the expansive Seacrest neighborhood.

INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

We took a chance on this property with it only having 2 reviews on the website. We are so glad we did. The main living spaces in this home are extremely oversized and were perfect for our family of 8. Most importantly the beds were very comfortable. This is our 6th time to the Seacrest Beach area and we would certainly stay in this home again. The management company provides cute boxes of small necessities for each bathroom, kitchen, laundry etc. Just note that there aren’t any small pantry items like spices and oil. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking, you will need to bring those items. It was also so nice that (4) bikes were included. Note that guests are not able to use the homeowners grill.

25th October Trip

My brothers and SILs. My husband and my Sister/Cousin take time to gather at the beach every October. This is our 25th October and did not disappoint. In fact we agree that this may be the best trip ever. The house was spacious and comfortable. We cooked delicious meals in the kitchen. We slept well in the beds. We stayed up late laughing and reminiscing on the porches. We noticed the small details. Thank you for preparing and sharing this house.

Excellent house, small beach

The Hemingway house was fantastic. Perfect for our crew offering excellent space to spread out and wonderful communal space to come together. House had several games (for all ages) and puzzles that came in handy during a rainy afternoon. Kitchen was well stocked, making cooking easy. Details regarding the larger property were not provided until closer to check in. Pool area was large and very nice. There was a tram service that helped transport to pool and beach access point between 9 and 5:30. The beach property we had access to was small. Half of the beach property was reserved for the company you can rent chairs from. Open beach for us to set up our own chairs/umbrella was very small so groups of people were 7-8 rows back from the shore (by 10 am). No wagons were allowed on beach so everything had to be carried. The tram helped to get stuff close but no wagons on the beach meant you had to carry your stuff the last bit. Overall, the house was great, but I was not impressed with the beach.
