Nice, clean unit just 100 yards or so from the beach. Master/kitchen/living room are upstairs and only a guest room/bathroom on the downstairs level. Only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Rosemary which was great. Two-car garage is nice but the spaces very tight. Not sure how people with large vehicles would fit in there. Beach is nice but it was incredibly crowded during our fall break trip. They allow tons of people to be shuttled in from nearby complexes which really surprises me, so it was super busy. Five rows of rented chairs/umbrellas is the most I have ever seen and I've been going to 30A for decades. Plus, a ton of people brought their own stuff. Basically no communication from our hostess before, during, or after the stay which I have never experienced. I did call in since I got no response from my message about the garage codes being incorrect, and someone told me to correct codes. I also sent a message about a toilet issue and they got somebody out there the next day. Good trip overall but just be aware of the crowded beach during busy times.

Nice location near beach and shops. Beautiful beach, a bit crowded for my taste, especially on weekends. During the week it wasn't bad. The house is nice, very clean and comfortable. One of the cleanest rental houses I have ever rented. Comfortable beds and plenty of nice towels, laundry/dish detergent.

Home was quiet, cozy and bright! Loved the location - super short walk to beach and fun spots. Being in a gated community was a bonus with very kind and attentive security staff. Not a huge fan of the public beach and access but thankfully not too busy during our visit. We really didn’t want to leave!

Location is great. Close to the beach, but once you get down there, there’s limited space for you to sit and enjoy the waves. We were not informed beforehand that we had to park in the garage during the stay and it was way too narrow (caused damage to our car mirrors despite them being tucked in). The house does come with a lot of helpful accessories (chairs, umbrellas, etc.) When we arrived, we noticed a few areas throughout the house were not cleaned (downstairs bathroom had hair in the tub, pots and pans had caked on food and grime, some small stains on the furniture/sheets/pillows, and the drains in both bathrooms did not drain while in use) but if you can get past it like us, it’s a fine place to stay.

Very close to the beach and pool. Water was incredible. Our 6 and 10 year olds preferred the beach over the pool, which says a lot if you have kids! The house is quaint, clean, and located close to the beach and coffee/dinner spot. If you have kids I recommend renting a car, which is what we did. There’s a garage so parking is not an issue. Only downside is that the steps to the beach make it hard to roll a wagon with your beach chairs. So just be prepared to carry your stuff. Not a big deal for us but if you have toddlers it may be more challenging. Although I will say that there were plenty of families and lots of infants with their families here, which goes to show how family friendly this place is.Overall, we had a great vacation. Highly recommend.

This is our second time at this amazing home and I am already ready to book for next year. The beds are so comfy and the kitchen has everything you need to stay comfortably for a week (or more). Very clean and excellent location! Can’t wait to come again!!

Great location and beautiful home!

Beautiful home with a balcony that is perfect for drinking morning coffee and a small patio downstairs that our daughter loved using. Easy walk to the beach and the garage is a nice bonus. Lots of extras in there to make the beach more enjoyable.

Great location! I thoughts it was closer to the beach when I booked it, but it was close enough and in a great neighborhood with beach access so it worked out fine. The house was very comfortable and cute.

Pretty great

We loved our stay! Thought it was very amazing and the neighborhood was good and everything. Only thing that threw us off was that we thought the beach was more private and also we thought there would be more toilet paper than what was given. But overall an amazing experience and would 100% come back!!

This home is decorated beautifully and has everything you need to enjoy a week (or more) at the beach. The beds are so comfy and plenty of seating in the living areas. We loved this home and will be coming again as soon as we can!

Great location

Sunset Veranda was the perfect spot for our family of three. Such a cute home that is only steps from the beach and a very short walk to the shops at Seacrest, Rosemary, and Alys. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back.

Cute home

The property itself was very cute and had all the things we needed to enjoy our stay. The biggest complaint was not about the property but the complex/ beach. Pros for home: Nicely decorated Kitchen had all pans and dishes we needed Coffee maker was awesome and had a built it grinder (we brought our own whole beans) King bed mattress and pillows were super comfy Laundry onsite with detergent pods Outside patio has outdoor shower with hot and cold water Grill with propane (didn’t end up using but it was available) Garage had bikes, beach cart, chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, etc Balcony was lovely for people watching and sipping beverages Negative for home Shower heads were bad and needs to be replaced Showers would drain slowly King beds sheets didn’t breath and were hot Excessive amount of pillows to the point it was hard to find places to put them Had decorative towels we weren’t allowed to use. Would rather have had them gone so we had hanging room for towels we actually used. Codes on check in to garage were incorrect on Vrbo but written inside property Pool code didn’t work TVs were not very user friendly thin walls couldn’t sleep past 8 due to trash twice a week, construction and ground crews The biggest complaint was that this property is located in a complex that allows hundreds of people to walk into the beach. Yes the beach is a short walk but unless you get there early or pay to rent a chair, there is very little room on the beach to sit.

Great location, comfortable house

Lovely home. Nice balcony with comfortable seating. The garage was a plus for us. Really convenient location. It’s an easy walk to the beach and several great restaurants. Hwy 98 is five minutes away which allows you to skip a lot of the 30A traffic. Highly recommend.

We go to Rosemary Beach every year and this is the first time we stayed at the Sunset Veranda. The property was beautiful and was perfect for two couples. The home had more than promised, including four beach chairs, one umbrella, beach games and two bikes. It is no more than 100 steps to the beach and once on the beach to the right are private homes so you can walk the beach and it almost seems like you are the only one on the beach. To the left on the beach is Crabby Steve's, good place to have lunch. The home is within walking distance to downtown Rosemary which is always a plus. I give this listing five stars!

Our stay in Seacrest

Very nice place tucked away towards the beach in a gated area between Rosemary and Alys Beach. It was perfect for our family of four. It was close to the beach and close to restaurants if we didn't feel like cooking. We would definitely come back. Thank you.

Sunset Veranda- A True Gem

We loved the property. It was clean and well kept, a charming community. The only drawback was the crowded beach. Restrictions were in place because it is a private property, which we understand, but it seemed there were a large number of beach goers each day from other properties. However, they will not prevent us from returning :)

We love the proximity of our home to many of our favorite places - obviously very close to the beach with a pool that overlooks the ocean. Walking distance to Peddler's Square, Rosemary beach and Alys Beach. You have everything you need for a perfect vacation!
