We came for a quick weekend getaway just myself, my husband and our 16 year old daughter and it was great! We crammed every thing in less than two days - floating the Comal, shopping and dining in Gruene, and even Schlitterbahn! It was a whirlwind but great weekend and the condo was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. Being able to jump in the Comal right on the property and float was nice and the walk back was super short and easy- plus having tubes in the condo ready to go was awesome! We were mostly only in the condo to sleep but it was nice and clean and like I said the BEST location to everything. We would definitely rent this one again!

We were able to walk up the door and rub the river and walk back to the condo afterward with ease. We also walked across the street to the water park and to a few diners! Very clean, location is very pretty. We will be back!

Very convenient location

The description of the property and how to float was one of the things that sold us on booking. The float actually lasted double or more of what was expected (45-60min). The location to downtown was also convenient that we were able to walk there as well. The property felt safe. Only negatives were the size of the balcony, the parking was tight - it was nice to have an assigned spot though.

Family stay

Great location, very clean, and very friendly staff who were always quick to respond. We walked across the street to Schlitterbahn, and conveniently floated the river from the resort. It was about a 45 minute-1 hour float which was perfect for our family. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

The stove went on the fritz…beeping and no oven Cooktop worked fine. The fold out cot was not usable…missing springs or springs would not stay hooked. Location to Schlitterbahn and the Comal are a plus.

Our stay

Easy access to water. Clean home. Hosts were prompt to answer any questions. The only thing negative is the vulnerability we felt to access the property. Limited space, must wear a wristband. A little more info prior to coming in would have been helpful. It might have been there I just didn't pay attention to it. But overall a fabulous place to stay.

The only improvement we would ike to see is an upgrade to the TV's. I am quite deaf and I could not program my hearing aids to the Blue Tooth option. Also HDMI was not available in the bedroom TV. Everything else was good. We plan to be back.

Right on the river!

The property was perfect and right on the river with its own access to the Comal. We enjoyed being super close to the water park as well! My daughter left her blanket and the team was able to find it and send it back. We’re very thankful for the helpful staff. See you next year!

Reviewer Comments: The condo is really nice but it is not for 6 people, the lady from river city conffirmed that it was for 6 but it doesnt have a sofa bed on the living room, she says the coach counts for 1 person, and what about the other one? So it is really for 4 peoole not 6. Othe than that everhing was great.

Relaxing and we loved the pool, people and yard was plenty shaded for BBQ time. Just wish more toilet paper and paper towels were available. Poor property management

Reviewer Comments: We were told the condo sleep's 6, it does not. two beds and one inflatable mattress that leaked. one kid slept on a not so clean floor, other on sofa. there is NO fold out. Parking is terrible, one small assigned space that even small vehicles have trouble with due to concrete poles everywhere. Very narrow spaces. the second space you are given is not enough by 2/3 and they tell you to park at the convention center downtown with no security. The security guard had to be forced to call to have vehicles towed that had no parking passes.Additionally after waiting in the parking lot for 1 1/2 hrs we saw a security pull her car out and give the space to someone she was apparently saving it for. We wasted 3 hours trying to get a space and had an altercation over a parking space we waited on. Calls to property management were useless. Through no fault of the property water was out for most of a day but they didn't seem bothered and didn't bother to notify tenants. Security is only there noon-midnight.

Perfect Location on the Comal River

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very spacious condo with all the amenities you need for a great tubing weekend. Washer/dryer came in handy for wet things. Set up an air mattress in the living area for our 5th adult guest. Plenty of room. Nice balcony with plenty of shade and can see the river. Nicely furnished and even had complimentary coffee.Will book again next summer!
