Welcome to the “Bertram’s By The Bay!” This home has a private, direct, view of the Back Bay of Lake Superior, right out the window. It is 5 minutes from the Bay Mills Resort and Casino. We have a small child’s swing set in the back yard, fire pit, two kayaks, and a garage bay for parking. The home has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a heated mud room to hang snow gear. We hope you enjoy the cozy and relaxing environment!

We had a great time, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with necessities. The outdoor space was great, the kayaks, fire pit and pier were very nice to enjoy time outside.

Great place to stay to visit many places in the UP. Beautiful sunrises over the water and spacious home. Very responsive when had a little question. Full kitchen and very comfortable living area. Quiet and peaceful waterfront. Would stay again for sure.

This property had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable trip, plus a fantastic view. A huge bonus for us was the garage, which easily and securely fit two motorcycles. Just a quick heads-up for future guests: the beds are very soft, so keep that in mind if you prefer a firmer mattress. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Excellent communication! Helpful, with quick responses. We loved this spot on the bay! Beautiful view of the water from the large dining table and from the deck. Fairly easy kayaking along a long stretch of natural shoreline. Small sandy beach was a great place to look for cool rocks, just be mindful of leaches - we pulled 2 small ones off toes. We didn't have children but there were 2 sandy areas and lots of toys to play with; that looked like fun:) The inside was also set up nicely for children. Great floorplan, spacious, room to spread out in the kitchen, dining, and living room. Bathrooms were in good condition. We also enjoyed the local businesses - Dancing Crane Coffee House, which was walking distance for us, and we had to stop at Sugar Daddy's Bakery before we headed home, mmmmm delicious sweets:)

This place exactly met our needs for a weekend visit with our son. We will definitely be back for future visits and there’s plenty of room to bring all of our kids. Kitchen was especially well-appointed. The nicest cooking materials selection I’ve had in a cabin/rental like this.
